 MC008 questions from new user
Ok so back at the end of march out of the blue ebay I got the MC008 eBay Indefinite Selling Restriction. One one my account and one on my fiancés account.
With both messages reading: To help keep our website a safer place for buyers and sellers, your account will be restricted from selling indefinitely.
Our decision is based on evidence from our records. We're not comfortable with your selling practices or business model, and we feel they don't help to promote a positive buying and selling environment.
No notice, no explanation nothing!! Here is the sticky part there is another account that is in my maiden name but has the same address etc and it is still active and had a review the same day the others did that were taken down. I am petrified it will also be taken down as from what I am reading there is no way they are not linked. Would it help to change the ip I log in from and change the address now or would that throw up red flags?
Next question, in doing the stealth do I change the ip address every single time I log in or when I create a new user on the computer does the ip address stay with that user? I am ready and willing to do whatever I have to do to get back on as this is our sole income and we are a family of six. I have been diligently reading through the forums and have made sure not to call ebay to try and get the accounts reinstated as from what everyone says there is a slim to none chance it will happen and I figure that would put the final nail in the coffin of the live account lol. I welcome any and all input everyone can give me as I am not very computer savvy so I am going to have to take baby steps.
