Default Bank of Montreal refused stealth deposit

BMO refused my mismatched name deposit and is trying to phone me. I'd like to be prepared with a plausible reason to accept the deposits. Any ideas?

Can always use the reasoning I give "My Boss (stealth name) pays me through Paypal to bank deposit for my work (make up a job u do)"

Does it work 100%? No! lol, it's worked about 40% of the time and usually for me, they would ask for some personal info on the name, such as address, phone, etc. So I always have all the info handy.

I don't know from experience, but just say anything, seem genuine and they might put it through, or they'll say no. But evading them will never lead to anything good.

To complicate matters I'm from Indonesia and went to the US and Canada to open many bank accounts. I understand that banks can see if you've applied to open other bank accounts, so she might also realize that fact.

For the idea of the boss withdrawing funds from a paypal account directly to my account, how might I answer the question of why he doesn't just send me paypal money? I suppose I could say that I don't have a paypal account, or that I did but they cancelled it with no reason a few years ago.

Or instead of boss I could say client who I do some freelance work for - such as telemarketing or some such - who wanted to pay by paypal but as I had no paypal he added my bank to the withdrawl.

Banks don't trust you when 1) you're opening bank accounts and is not a citizen of the country or the surrounding countries and 2) when you proceeds to use it oversea.

This is exactly why BMO shut you down.

They didn't shut me down. And of course they knew I was not a Canadian citizen when I opened the account. Someone from that bank is just trying to call. And of course it's likely because of the deposit, as they refused it.

Oh, also I only login to the account using a Canadian proxy.

Why would it be very odd for you as a resident in Canada to have anything but good experiences with a Bank ?

re-read what the OP said.

He's using a proxy to access the banking system.

The Bank already knows he is a non-resident.

Sadly whatever he has done has flagged his account.

@fast2233, all your proxy business and such noted...did you create the accounts in Canadian funds? or USD-based fund accounts?
