Is the name on the confirmation the same as the buyers? My postman signed my recorded bits and puts them through the door.

I'd send them the tracking number so they can see for themselves. They might just be trying it on.

Drop a friendly little note to the buyer that you are checking with RM.

You would hate for the poor buyer to be a victim of mail fraud so you have sent the parcel SIGNED & RECORDED delivery. Tell the buyer mail fraud is a jailable offence

Soon as you hear back from RM, say I will let you know.

Do not let on you already know anything. Give the buyer a chance to check his memory ;)
Strange things happen when mail fraud is mentioned.
Always keep your ammo for one last round

Buyer says its not his sig but initials are the same that's strange and royal mail told him the postcode was not his, but I printed the label out and that's correct
and he lives in the same town as the so called royal mail postcode he says they gave him and all a bit fishy if u ask me!

If the address on the RM website is the same as his PayPal address then you are covered regarding INR case or negative feedback.

As a thought:
I have just had a negative removed under similar circumstances. The buyer gave me a negative after three days when shipping is 10 days. Once i saw the item had arrived via USPS I contacted eBay support with the tracking and as it arrived in the estimated delivery time, and the comment was regarding the item not being received, they removed the feedback.

He shouldn't win a Paypal case either

As GB says, let him find his memory.

The case is still ongoing? Good on your communication with eB to get it removed

Hi,

Can I ask what the item was, there is a lot of buyer just at it on eBay, after a while you get a vibe from person name and area. I tell them I need to raise a p58 with post office and if you give me a contact number for your claim form. Once post office contact you to confirm that item was not received and processed the claim i will gladly issue refund, can take up to 60 days. (I get proof of post). I am not sure how RD works but I think you can still put a claim in. That stops about 90%

PS sorry about grammer its sh*t, its to late and I'm tired.

:yar:

rsot 04-15-2013 11:59 AM

@stevebills, call them up - keep all your receipts ready - is the buyer's pp verified? Worth noting. Has a claim been opened?

stevebills 04-19-2013 01:27 PM

I just refunded him I got bored
