Default eBay to eBay dropship question

Hello all,

I know dropship is not a good option for eBay but I have found many item I can buy from eBay and sale it right back to another eBay buyer.

Let said one of the top rate power seller sale that item BIN for $40 shipped. At the same time I can sale that same item on eBay for $60 plus shipping.

I want to sale it first and then buy from the top rate power seller and ship direct to my customer.

I'm sure the shipping time is not an issue cause I buy many item from this guy and he is great.

The main question is the tracking number. Can I use the same tracking number that the seller provided me for my own sold transaction?

Will I get caught for using the same tracking number?

Thank you

Why not just buy it as stock first. This sounds like a plan waiting to implode

The main question is the tracking. Is that will be a problem since 1 number but show up in two transactions

I see this plan going South bro.

1. You need to have the item shipped to you then u need to ship the item back out, unless u can have the power seller ship to your customer...

Just thinking of how this would ever work hurts my head!

The seller is ship anywhere I want to. And he ship out same day for free. He also agree not to including any invoice/packing paper with my order

No no no and no!

this is risky.

Same tracking number can not be used. Doing that is not liked by ebay/paypal.

You have this seller who makes an arrangement with you to deliver without an invoice & that sounds great. Where's the option if another party does the packing and sends out an invoice? That makes things dangerous.

And here is another little killer. Say you get asked to produce a receipt, ebay have had the cheek to REJECT receipts from their own site.

One more... a buyer sees your item and then tells you they say the same item on ebay & make demands of you for a better deal... grief

All of these mean fireworks & issues for your account.

Consider other options please. I am serious.

Maybe speak to this seller and do a bulk buy then ship out to each customer. Very noteworthy points being made - the other thing is how will you deal with CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS on low quality or broken if it happens? Quite a headache indeed potentially for how much profit? 10ish after eB fees?

Their item is great and I have been buying many from him with no problem. He even setup return process with eBay so you just need click return and print out a prepaid priority mail label to send it back with all the information there automatic.

After all the fee I made about 30%

I have all items ship to me before just want to do a shortcut.

Just like GB said. I just need to stick with my original plan. Items ship to me and I ship to customer :-)
