stealth paypal account with personal ebay: good or bad idea

question i have my personal account is good and active but my paypal account now they asking for ssn i dont have one so can i get a stealth paypal account and link it to my personal ebay account so i can keep selling and resiving money please help???

Usually if one goes the other follows, that is why you need stealth accounts to spread out transactions

g300power, On the forum we recommend that Each PayPal Match Ebay Exactly. Adding a Paypal to a different Ebay is not recommended.

I would suggest that if you plan to sell on stealth accounts that each account(ebay + paypal) have completely different info so they(ebay,paypal) don't link you.

If you use another pp on the same eB account, you are creating a link with your old pp account just by virtue of the eB account. You could last a while OR you could do right away - my suspicion is that you would be LIMITED once you tried a withdrawal with NO chance for appeal.

That being said - consider other payment options for the eB account AND make NEW STEALTH account and rebuild.

Paypal is on hold cause they asking me for ssn but is for taxes but I'm getting my ssn in about a month should I save the account and give it to paypal or should I just go stealth account all the way

I would just go stealth all the way.

Eventually when the pp is suspended there is a good chance they will suspend the linked eB account so I wouldn't hold out on keeping that eB account. If you cannot resolve the pp limitation I would just make new stealth eB/PP accounts.

IF the only issue is SSN AND you have always been operating well...might as well save it.

BUT realize than pp will have your SSN so in the future, you cant use your SSN with paypal again. If you get suspended down the road...well, sucks but pp will have your info.

All things considered, reflect on the info I have written and make a choice. In your situation - barring violations and past problems with the account - I still would not like PP having my info.

Supply an EIN instead.

Avoid ever giving SSN to paypal.

Problem is account is personal GB - not business account - so OP stated.
