How to get higher selling limits with Legit Account

I have a legit account (had it for 5 years, under my name SSN etc...) a year ago, after i got hit with a category restriction, they also reduced my limits to 100 Items and $5000.

Now i would like that increased, what is the best way to approach this?

Don't call, don't do the online thing. Just always sell to your maximum limit every month and they will increase automatically.

Please make more stealth accounts as backups and spread sales in case this account goes down...limits reducing, category restrictions...a bad cocktail going on

It will come in time as you maintain it.

Like others I am dead set against calling them.

Build an arsenal of stealths as even a legit account can go down in seconds.

That's how I lost my legit account I called to increase limit they increased to 150 / 5000 and 7 days later my account was canned with 100% buyer feedback but now it's so much better no fear that my entire business will go down at once I have over 20 accounts and growing . Stealth is only way to increase limits at will NEVER CALL

Hmmmmmm i got nothing but love from the reps, gave me a 200 bump, then 60 days later i got auto bumps into the 1,000's.

It suggests that the OP has a business plan that is not compatible with ebay's sellers expectations.

A legit account not getting increases means something is not right there.....

OP, what are your DSRs, feedback etc like? Is your category 'special'?

Here is the story:
I started selling Lighting cables early this year. I got my limits increased all the way to like 5000 items, $100,000. Later i called to increase more and they saw i was selling generic cables so they banned me in that cateogry and reduced me to 100 and $5K.

Now, a few months later, im selling just graphic tshirts.
Feedback is 99.4%, 4.9+ DSR

No account is safe anymore, even a legit older one.

I dont call for anything. The info sucking machine and well trained idiots at eb and pp only want to suck info from you to use it to attack you from the back.

Dont trust them, never will and wont give them the chance.

I will find other ways to get what I want from them.

Good that you got out of the lighting cables - there is another long recent thread about that on the forums - lot of problems with that. Only been a few months though so tread carefully.

State of your account excludes calling them at this point.

You are lucky they left your account up.

Now, this is your lesson, Grasshopper.
Start the hard work all over again. Earn the increases by selling to your monthly limits.
Make more stealth accounts.

ebay may turn around down the track and punish you again for those cables.
Never trust them.

Selling limit connected to the info that you provide and how strong your verification is, that is why till yesterday I still can create eBay seller accounts without selling limits at all.
But that does not mean that these accounts won't get suspended if I will do a mistake, my point is work hard you will get a precious results.

Don't call.
Don't fill out the form.
Don't expect on getting higher limits.

If you do either, it will tip off your account.. Just a warning FYI.

ebay will only allow you to sell while they allow you to sell.

Because of that first reduced selling limit, you may have to wait.

Try to understand now. You might have got limited permanently.

You were one of the luckier sellers.

You have to go on selling and conform to their rules.
