Actually the only signature card I ever had to fill out was the one I got sent in the mail when opening my initial Checking account.
After that it has been an open instant online. No need to send in anything!
Weird haha

BOA does act up once in a while. I had security call me for odd things...not to be trusted. You never know if they notify Uncle Sam about large money so I'm getting smaller there.

Lot of posts around that indicate that Wells Fargo is hit and miss - has worked for some, has failed for others...both on Az and on PP.

Nope, didn't link any of my bank accounts yet.

Won't do so until sales starts coming in.

Avoid closing accounts. See what happens in a few months.

Wells Fargo has been going OK lately. Can sometimes be trouble. But that has been more the fault of the account holder.

Had the account for awhile, roughly 6 months more or less. Trying to do some summer cleaning, but I'll wait until the 9 month mark hits.

Key Bank & SunTrust both work for PP withdraw with completely incorrect names.
I recommend SunTrust, opening an account is easy!

I tried Suntrust and Keybank, Because I am in California it appears I am out of their service area.

I am testing GoBank and BlueBird right now for PP

The closest branch of Suntrust to me is over 400 miles away so I am definitely not in a service area of theirs. Still I was able to open an account and have everything mailed to me without issue. Same for Key Bank, never need to visit a branch.

Not too sure about GoBank but report back with your findings. BlueBird is awesome!

GoBank is nice to know about - BlueBird has its benefits but from my understanding, seems like fees are bit higher up

It took me about 8 days to get my card in the mail after registering online!

In Response to Jonesla9,

I opened the accounts when I lived in Indiana I have also opened accounts here in Ohio as well. My uncle in California also has a Suntrust Checking and Savings.
Suntrust has branches in 14 states but I'm sure it serves all 50. I opened my accounts by chatting with a rep at suntrust's website didn't even ask me for an opening deposit!

Update: GoBank

Account has been confirmed and small test deposit came through just fine. Totally different names on account.

Wanted to update you all with a new bank I have tried:
5/3rd Bank
https://www.53.com/site

Deposit of over $500 and completely incorrect names worked fine!
This was a checking account. I will try savings and let everyone know but it should be fine!

Default My BBT bank manager told me...

that they have to accept different names because so many people are living together with different names & having babies with different names or even keeping their maiden names in marriage that it would be very prohibitive not to allow. Think about it he is right. Crazy not to be able to transfer your wife some cash. Or your kid in college? Solved that got her a Bluebird/Amex card today. Online too.
