I second everything tsms has said. Sadly forget VBAs for the UK at the current time. My preference for a card would be from a seller on here. Entropay are starting to be a little bit problematical for SOME people

I read in a post on here a while ago there is a UK bank Acc you can get which is good for stealth , can't remember the name but it cost around £12 per month

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so can you still use it and what's the name

Cheers

Is nice account. You can (down the track) make another account without going to bank

I have just today gone to RBS as i already had a standard basic account (current with debit card, no o/d) and asked if I could open another account easily as i wanted to separate different saving streans to be told no problem - how many did i want and they would even put a 2nd description line on the card ie mr xx xxxxxxx, number two account

I asked for 4 and she is putting the forms already completed for me in the post - all i have to do is sign and put the description i want on each card - easy as !

Hope that helps

The key to success with multiple accounts with one banking group is not how many you have but how they are used.

Been mentioned before that you need to be seen to use them as 'normal' accounts.

If all they do is receive funds from p/p in a mismatched name then the bank will start to take a closer look at all your accounts. They have a legal obligation to monitor all customer accounts for unusual activity that may indicate money laundering.

Another good one to use, which a lot of people forget about is Bank of Scotland, which is actually Halifax - (HBOS - Halifax Bank of Scotland). I have opened several basic accounts with them and you can do it online.

Plus if you already bank with the Halifax you can just add your new Bank of Scotland accounts straight onto your Halifax online banking service - same password etc as your existing Halifax account! Plus you can do any other banking you need to do at any Halifax branch. Top tip if I do say so myself!
