| | | megalon | 05-30-2013 11:23 PM | Just had a very pleasant convo with our friends at PayPal Spoke to someone named Andy.
Of course, he was a supervisor. As soon as he got on the phone I knew he would be FOS. Full of "I understands" and "I realize." . How can you understand anything? You ever had funds frozen by your company?
Anyway, I am gonna call them everyday and bug the hell out of them until they release the funds. Anyone ever try the harassment method? Even if it doesn't work I bet I can have some fun doing it. |
| GreenBean | 05-31-2013 12:48 AM | More importantly how much can you afford to give paypal as 'fines' when you bug them?
They react poorly to these games.
Cool down and think of a better way to deal with them.
:boink: |
| megalon | 05-31-2013 02:04 AM | It is $1001.95. It's cool I don't expect to get all my money back from them even after the 180 days. I am sure they will come up with some BS. Their business is built upon stealing money so I knew what I was getting into. I probably f'd up along the way somehow.
Thanks for the advice GreenBean but I think I am gonna keep poking them with the stick. It is fun and I do not like them, so that makes it even better. |

If you want to aggravate paypal, do not do it with an account which has your money held. There are better ways to aggravate paypal, I would try an account with the opposite situation if you catch my drift. You can have real fun with paypal with the right situation. |
| corleone | 05-31-2013 11:48 AM | Just wait the 6 months and treat it like a savings account. The more problems you cause paypal the more likely you are to get a bad paypal rep who can make life hard.
I had a situation where they insisted I prove my identity before giving me access to funds. It was a lot of work to just get my 180 day hold, now I'm perfectly fine waiting 6 months.
Like I said above, there are certain situations where you can get payback on them, but don't play with accounts where they've got you by the cajones. |
| megalon | 05-31-2013 10:12 PM | You do realize I am speaking of a stealth account, right? |

Trust me, they do have a policy for id verification if they suspect that you can not prove your identity. I am proof of this, as I've had to deal with it and had to provide proper documentation to even get the 180 day hold.
My advice is do not play with fire on held money. |
