Default Just had a very pleasant convo with our friends at PayPal

Spoke to someone named Andy.

Of course, he was a supervisor. As soon as he got on the phone I knew he would be FOS. Full of "I understands" and "I realize." . How can you understand anything? You ever had funds frozen by your company?

Anyway, I am gonna call them everyday and bug the hell out of them until they release the funds. Anyone ever try the harassment method? Even if it doesn't work I bet I can have some fun doing it.

More importantly how much can you afford to give paypal as 'fines' when you bug them?

They react poorly to these games.

Cool down and think of a better way to deal with them.

It is $1001.95. It's cool I don't expect to get all my money back from them even after the 180 days. I am sure they will come up with some BS. Their business is built upon stealing money so I knew what I was getting into. I probably f'd up along the way somehow.

Thanks for the advice GreenBean but I think I am gonna keep poking them with the stick. It is fun and I do not like them, so that makes it even better.

I've alway's got my money after 6 months.

If you want to aggravate paypal, do not do it with an account which has your money held. There are better ways to aggravate paypal, I would try an account with the opposite situation if you catch my drift. You can have real fun with paypal with the right situation.

Just wait the 6 months and treat it like a savings account. The more problems you cause paypal the more likely you are to get a bad paypal rep who can make life hard.

I had a situation where they insisted I prove my identity before giving me access to funds. It was a lot of work to just get my 180 day hold, now I'm perfectly fine waiting 6 months.

Like I said above, there are certain situations where you can get payback on them, but don't play with accounts where they've got you by the cajones.

If paypal realizes that they can make life very hard for you, much harder than you can make it for them. Trust me, they do have a policy for id verification if they suspect that you can not prove your identity. I am proof of this, as I've had to deal with it and had to provide proper documentation to even get the 180 day hold.

My advice is do not play with fire on held money.

So What is the problem with it being a Stealth account?, thats one of the good things about Paypal, as opposed to Amazon who simply Delete you and your account and you have NO SHOT at getting your money, at least with Paypal in 6 months you can attach a Bank account and get your money, Unless of course you Piss them off to a point where the will find a way (and there are MANY) to Keep your money,,,,,,If I were you I'd leave them alone, and wait the 6 months

My frozen pp is more than $1200.00 since 22 March. Not yet 180 days sufficient to withdraw it.

Rough to hear - time to wait - make up backup accounts and get going. Hope you will be ok waiting for the money...it's rough :( pp is rough like that
You tried to lift the limitation at all?
