Default Best address method

Just wondering what people are doing these days for there stealth business PP address?

I know paypal ask for the business address and home address.. and i was thinking of using a virtual office address for the biz address but not so sure what do do for home address unless i just mark it same as business address (however i think that may look suspect under review or checks)

Does banned address variation work well these days?

any thoughts welcome and appreciated stealth gods

Address variation works well in North America - I know pp in UK seems to check registrars but that would be for PERSONAL accounts...I would suspect business accounts could get along nicely with address variation

When you sign up for a business account, you have the option to enter a personal address, if you are using a virtual address for business.. i think it would be suspect to use same address as business?

What are your thoughts.

No an address variation is far too risky in the UK. Preferable to be new with everything.

Problem with the UK is accounts are far often checked by a person than they tend to be in North America.

The slightest hint of banned info can be, and is detected.

I would strongly advise to not go that way at all.

What would be the best address method to use for a UK business account?

Should i just go for a friends address i have access to? I already mentioned to them and they said it would be fine to use it.

I usually just rent a mailbox for the accounts that I want to use long term or just a random address for accounts I plan to use just for a while.

agree with kwikiimart, except that i start with random addresses and I'll rent a mailbox for those accounts that gained higher limits and more feedback

Never use a friend (relative, mom, dad, brother, sister, in-law....) information.

There are many other options

@OP, might want to see about other address threads in the UK section - lot of similar posts around but UK paypal does seem tough on the address check

Yeah exactly.. UK seems tough.. when you guys say rent a mailbox does that mean you will have to give docs with statements etc attached to that mailbox address?

yes, and there are optimal methods for doing this...^^^

a box is good for business accs and setting up an account properly from the start, gives you peace of mind, any correspondence goes there, it is a real address and it has no link to your banned details.

Unless you are going to sell under £1650 per year, documents are needed.

Now for that chorus saying wrong , wrong , wrong.

£1650 is the amount ( give or take) where paypal remind the seller of the £1950 anti-money laundering limits. Documents are compulsory for uplifting this. And few sellers want to walk away from a solid account.

with a box... say from regus virtual offices.. they give out the same address to everybody.. for particular areas.. now what if somebody else had used an address for a PP account and got banned?

That is exactly what I was wondering too. Has anybody used that company or something similar that has experience with that?

Seems logical that a variation of the post box address would help stay off the automatic eb/pp radar...manual review would screw you up regardless

If you 'GOOGLE' that name it is on the front page.... means it is known.

Means it may be problematic

I try to avoid returns, but if they are insistent, then I let them return it to the stealth address. The loss on returns is much better financially than paying for 100 mailboxes.

I usually offer 50% refund, if that doesn't work I have a little trick to get them to send it to a good address. If they're suspicious of that, then I just say "F it" and have em send it back to the Stealth Addy.
