Default Acquired account choices

All,

I have acquired an OLD account through a friend that has very old details on.

Obviously changing all the information quickly is NOT a good idea so;

Do I change the info on eBay aswell as PayPal?
Would you change the info on PayPal before eBay?

any advice please

Thanks

Depends on what info you want to change.

I would do some browsing, asking questions etc on that account before I changed anything at all.

I am talking name, address etc. even eBay ID. Is it 'doable'?

Also, would I need to update all the information PayPal aswell to the 'new' users information?

Lots to consider. When was the account last used?

Was it a selling account or just buying?

Are you getting the eBay only and must add PayPal?

More info could help

Agree with Sandy, browse first

Do not rush as changes do flag the account

Go with your gut feelings then.

Do not tempt fate.

Agreed.

Of course the temptation should be resisted, if possible.

Best way to deal with this temptation is to create new accounts via stealth and build them...learn the system
