IP question for paypal
 

I am looking to create my first stealth account and I've done all the necessary research, but I am left with a question.... If using dial up or cellular tethering, I will end up having a new IP every time (phone gets new IP on every reboot)... Is this going to be an issue with paypal seeing an account with different login IPs? Because I cannot control what IP I get with cellular tethering, or dial up. Also another weird thing, when I track the IP of my cell number, it comes up as being nearly 2 states away from my real location, will this hurt me if i use this "out of state" IP but i use an address in my hometown?

One more question on the subject of VPN... Is this no longer a viable option? I currently have a subscription with HMA for my VPN, so I am able to choose which IP i connect to... They literally have thousands of IPs to choose from... U think eBay and PayPal know them all? When I check my IP while using my VPN it doesn't mention anything about a proxy, or network sharing (whatismyipaddress)... It actually claims it is a "static IP" for the VPN IP location I've been using lately....could this be used, or Is this a big NO NO? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I search for VPN on the site to try to do some more reading but it claims there is no matching searches!?

Suggest you do much more research.

VPN, Hide My A*** are not recommended at all.

To find info, go to the SEARCH box....

On the GOOGLE line type are VPN good for stealth

Better options are dongle, cellphone tethering for IP....can research VPS too but being in the US has so many viable options.

Thank you for the fast replies. Could someone chime in on my first question ralegarding the tethering to receive dynamic IP... I can get a different IP from my phone every time I reboot.... But if I create an account with that IP from my phone, then I have no way of getting that same IP back when I need to login again, is this a problem or is it OK that my IP will be different every time I login that account due to a changing dynamic IP? As far as I know, the IP remains the same through the entire connection as long as the phone isn't reset.

Dont worry too much about getting the SAME IP back - just make sure you arent re-using the IPs across accounts. Log it with that excel sheet on the forum

I do tether but with Paypal I use my comcast modem and change the MAC address because I always get IPs in or next to my state.

When using cellular IPs like u said u can get an IP across the country and it happened to me the other day when making a withdrawal it asked for a phone number associated with my address luckily I just hit cancel and the withdrawal went threw so that shook me where I will only tether for ebay but when it comes to the money end I think those IPs raise flags and draw attention

ebay/paypal will recognise your IP as being dynamic.

Should, therefore, not be an issue. If you user user accounts & cookies etc, you should be fine .

Just like to add that some providers have limited IP numbers. If you are logging your IPs, and notice no great variation, maybe consider another provider.

To help, in matters stealth, you might like to use this file. It logs IPs.
