New ebay account zero monthly selling limits
"you can sell 0 items, $0 amounts this month,whichever comes first." but I haven't sold a thing. Does it mean this account is dead? What happened? |

What happened? A brand new account does not have limits until you start selling. |

| I think this account links to other accounts that have been suspended. They want to confirm your identity with this account so the selling limit will be increased after you confirm your bank details with eBay. |

PayPal is verified and limits lifted by vba and vanilla prepaid card, new ip, new windows user account , new address, new name(although same last name),new phone number, new gmail, what did I do to have it linked to old account? |

I get this most of the time when I use totally fictional info. 80% for me, sometimes when I call in I get new limits, 5, 10 , 30 but usually they tell me no way. Its always worth a call. Nothing ventured nothing gained. |

Stranger things have happened with ebay putting a suspension on an account.
Helped a user years back who used the same branch of a small town bank with a suspension lifting.
Always difficult to tell some reasons.

Not necessarily. I have had this happen for different reasons (according to the ebay reps at the time of course). Some have said its because they couldnt match up my name with the address in their database when the system tried to verify my account; one I had been linked to an suspended account; another because my paypal wasn't verified... So it all just depends.
Most of the time, in my experience like 95% of the time, I can call and just talk to them by way of the request higher selling limit link underneath. They normally just ask me personal questions (from database) or general selling questions about my ebay account. Once I answer their questions I am able to list.
If it helps ( if it's related to paypal not being verified) I just tell them it is on delay because I am waiting for deposits.. etc.
It all depends on how well you created the stealth account. |

I had a similar threat recently. My situation was little different thought. At first, I got the new instant restriction then called and were able to get the account back. However, I still couldn't list any thing and got the you can sell 0 items, $0 amounts this month,whichever comes first. Waited couple of days called them and luckily they increased my limits to 100/5000 |

Called eBay today, they asked my dob and name, address as I provided my stealth information, I guess they couldn't find anything match in the public database. Later I hung up before the call was transferring to someone else. Is my account dead now? |

| But how can they verify my account in their database with all stealth information I provided? I'm only hoping they can let me sell maybe 5 or 10 items monthly(it will grow in the future most of the time right?) and I will never call to bother them for lifting limits, but ZERO? |
