Default eB Payment Preferences..

I'm having a hard time understanding something under the 'payment preferences options' in my eB account. The part that gives you the option to tick the checkbox, 'prefer paypal on all my listings' and another one similar. They are all unchecked by default and they should be checked, right?

PP is the default setting to accept payments so unchecked by default will make no difference. This setting is there for sellers who have other payment options available as well e.g. Skrill, Propay, etc.

Sorry for the wait, here they are. The last one is about linking eB->pp. This can always be ignored? Thankyou

Hmm really don`t think it makes a difference since PP is the default setting - when you make an auction listing, you will be asked for your pp e-mail to send payments

Right. I'm guessing when you actually link eB->pp through the eB account preferences maybe both will get checked off lol see eB is giving us the option to use another processor other then pp

Besides the other approved payment processors, you would need merchant status for others
