First Stealth being created and need advice

Hey everyone, brand new here. I have read the book but want to run a few things fast some seasoned members for advice.
History: i got my account banned for being linked through IP, im guessing, to an old account of a family members while still under there roof who was banned. Im wanting to make my first stealth account but just want to make sure i havnt left anything out or get some tips before making it.

1. have a new user on my computer, installed ccleaner for cookies and an add on for firefox to clear flash cookies
2. have a Fresh IP
3. have a fresh bank account
4. have a vanilla visa ready to be registered
5. need some help with a name (can it be any old name)? not sure since im also unfamiliar with the SS number policy of paypal
6. and i also have a fresh address and phone number to use

just wanting any tips or pointing out any problems before i create it.

I'm not quite seasoned yet, but I can at least answer some if not all.

1. new userID on computer is good, you do not have to delete cookies and flash cookies as long as you only use this for your 1 stealth ebay and pp acct

2. Fresh IP is good. make sure you note the IP and ebay/pp acct that used it in case you create more accounts

3. fresh bank acct is good. your bank acct name does not have to match your ebay/pp name

4. vanilla visa card needs to have same zip code as stealth acct. zip code is only part of address that vanilla ask for

5. make up any name you want. pp verifies your routing number and bank account. nothing else. dont give pp your SSN. they will use your SSN to verify your identity (may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure I am right)

6. good on address and phone number. don't forget a fresh email address as well


I can not think of anything else, but you'll get some other responses that will verify me right or wrong.

im sure all the questions i am about to ask have been answered before so please bare with me.

1. i know calling ebay is a big no-no, so generally speaking how long does it take to get your account limits raised? also what factors play into that equation?

2. with the address, the address i have planned to use i do have access to if need be (a neighbors address) but its not one i want to use often if avoidable. How do people who have stealth accounts handle returns? i know returns dont happen all that often but im planning for worst case scenario.

Welcome to the forums.

1. Around 90 days some people have said but others have reported longer...just have to wait and be patient. All kinds of factors - read around forum.

2. People handle returns by HAVING access to address - example: pobox, variation of address, etc.

ok so humor me for a moment, i live in an apartment complex and all packages come to the main building. so for example addresses 11 elm st 13 elm st and 15 elm street are all apartments but all packages come to the same place so i guess my question is as long as the numbers are different would that be ok as a stealth address or does ebays automated system read the street name as well?

Would pass automated system - but if MANUAL REVIEW is involved, you could have issues (just saying)

@ Tigetown...Also buy few small items get some feedback for 90 days...Buy anything around $ 4 - 8 dollar . Spend around $ 50- 100 dollar it really help to start selling ..

No, never use ccleaner or delete flash cookies. Make sure the account has its own user account with attached cookies. ebay/paypal like to see that.

Good. Make sure you have checked your IP is brand new and changes ( is dynamic)

3. have a fresh bank account

Good again.

4. have a vanilla visa ready to be registered

Match the zip code to the stealth account.

Never make up a name. Keep in mind that paypal may (later) ask you for ID for tax purposes. Made up name will not work. You must look at other options.

No 5 is your weak spot. Look at other options for names. You might think of a DBA eg. Read the forum for the info on using paypal
