People been abusing these fa ke numbers that now eb next month says if you don't got tracking uploaded within 24 hours you can't get TRS on it no more.
People abuse the system, they patch it up and make it harder! So they can filter out the bad sellers. I got TRS on like 8 accounts and never got my -20% discount. I called in they said it's only US accounts. I say F em. Cause I got some accounts that are not TRS and sell more then some that are TRS.

You do NOT need to be a TRS to make sales. It CAN help, but so can writing a good title, product description, having competitive pricing, emphasizing customer service and quick shipping, etc.
TRS status IS nice, there is no denying that, but eBay is being unreasonable - they make it harder and harder to keep TRS status and force sellers of smaller items to use tracking even though it doubles, or even triples the postage cost. If eBay would just eliminate any sales under $10 from the tracking requirements, it would be very helpful. But I'm not holding my breath.
Again, we cannot change eBay, so it is not worthwhile to expend our time and efforts to try to do so. Much better to spend your time and efforts into working their system and making it profitable for you.

Much better to spend your time and efforts into working their system and making it profitable for you. | Even if you do that as a new comer you can't compete with guys who are top ranked on the search engine. With 100's of items sold and you coming up as a noob!
Either you in the wrong business witch it sounds you are. Try selling your items 2 at a time so it's worth over $10? Or try another product?
It's really a shame with their new tracking system that has to be within 24 hours. I always ship 3 times a week. M W F and had top rated. Going to the post office for 1 package at times is not worth the time/gas. But going for 3+ is. Some days I get 1 item sold some days I get 15. Really depends.
But this within 24 hours is really a shame. They are trying to compete with Amazon since Amazon is higher ranked and they want to be just like them. They should stop looking at Amazon and let me run it!

Take, for example, a Molex to SATA power cable adapter. It is a tiny thing that weighs less than an ounce. I have an awesome supplier and I have sold hundreds of these on an account with more than 10,000 positive feedbacks. But nobody is going to buy them from me if I charge $10 for 2, 3 or 4 of them as most people need only one.
My cost per piece is 14 cents. I sell them for $2 (and $3 on a separate account) with free shipping. If I had to pay $1.90 rather than 50 cents for shipping, I would have to raise the price. My customers appreciate the fact that they can get them from me for cheap and I get a lot of referrals with eBay users passing my eBay-id along. And I come up just fine in the search results, at least so far.
Not to mention, this is only ONE product out of more than 2,000 that I sell. Check around eBay, not everyone selling in volume is a TRS. Again, the TRS status DOES help, there is no denying that. But if you think the only way to succeed on eBay is with TRS status, then you are really limiting yourself.
eBay is always changing and what works today may not work tomorrow. That is the nature of the beast. When you take the attitude that the deck is stacked against you and you don't have any chance, that can only work against you. I always prefer to at least TRY new things with eBay than to simply give up.

I have some accounts that get more sales then TRS accounts.
Plus that -20% I never seen it because I'm not blah blah blah by ebay's lame rules.
And yes they do make it harder each year. Maybe to filter out the scammers? Stealthers? Who knows. But I think it's to compete with Amazon! Amazon has 1 day shipping, ships within 1 day no questions or problems etc. They are pretty fast and so on.
