Recommended device to improve 3G or 4G Signal
Some users here use tethering and hotspot devices to get wide range
of ips for multiple stealth. I recently purchased a Verizon 3G hotspot device
but got really lousy signal in the area where i live. It was about -100 -107 dpi
which gave me a really slow internet.
I purchased a devise called: Wilson Electronics 460106 Sleek 2G/3G to
boost my signal (there is also a more expensive sleek that works with 4g devices).
It works with all major north American 3G carriers including Verizon,
AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint etc.
The deal I chose came with a car kit and a home/office kit. The whole
deal cost me about $130, but it was totally worth it. I now get a -74 to
-79 dpi, which is something you can actually work with for what we do
with stealth.
However, since i have double window in my home which blocks signal
strength I had to slide the thin antenna wire under the window and
attach the home kit antenna to the window from the outside, otherwise
I would still get a lousy signal.
Wilson also sell a product called yagi antenna which you hang
on your roof or side of the house, and will give you an
even stronger range to your carrier antenna.
They also have a large range of outdoor and indoor antennas
you can purchase to boost your signal.
Just wanted to provide this tip to anyone who gets slow
performance with your hotspot device. You might not have
to change your internet service. It worked in my case.
