Like I said before, it's less about what you say and more about how you come across. The phone verification thing doesn't exist so you can be cross-examined by eBays attorneys----it's simply a way of getting a feel for you, personally. Contrary to the popular opinion on this forum, eBay is not out to get you. They just don't want dishonest sellers on their website. (And by "dishonest" I mean people who sell f@ke **** and rip-off buyers, not people with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info.)

As long as you come across as a new eBay seller who just wants to get rid of stuff around his house, you'll be fine. I DO NOT advise acting like you're a businessman, because this will draw suspicion. 95% of eBay sellers just starting out for the first time are regular joes getting rid of household junk. Act like you're a part of that group and you'l be fine.

As for your second question, there's no issue with calling in. I don't know if you get auto-limit increases because I call in every 25 days (technically you're allowed to get a limit increase every 25 days, not 30. Learned that from an eBay rep...one of the benefits of calling). I get a limit increase once a month.

Before anyone talks **** about my join date----I've been selling on eBay since 2008. My accounts prior had ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info simply because I didn't think eBay needed to know who I was, so long as I paid my fees. I got NARU'd for selling digital goods and for VERO issues, and it didn't occur after a phone call.

If ebay is not out to get you then why are you here??

I find it sad how you just keep going on and on and on and on and on.. about this. so many more important things to deal with in life rather than sitting on a forum QQing when no one no longer gives a damn.

I think this could be a helpful and worthwhile discussion if everyone kept out the snark, sarcasm and rudeness. This is how it should be going..... As I said, I personally have called eBay every 25 days successfully for 2 years straight. This is something I've personally tested and confirmed. I suggest reading my posts before spouting off nonsense and misquoting people.

Yes, because the accounts weren't stealth. I gave eBay a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address---that's it. I made no intentional effort to hide my eBay presence and had no knowledge of this forum or it's tactics.

Perhaps we're arguing semantics---I don't consider a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address alone to be "stealth" (because doing so without changing everything else would result in failure).

My only point was I never got public database questions. If you got a different impression, than you have my apologies.

MOST usa users get asked all sorts of database questions.. and addresses are usually a massive issue.

So for you not to get get such questions makes people wonder if your information used was REAL info.. since the only question she asked you on the call was 'what is your name ' not even in the uk are limit increases as simple as that.

Yes, you're right, there is.

I had to call twice to get the limit increase.

First time, it was a guy, he ball-busted me with the address verification. Couldn't pull up the records. Asked for a second address. Gave him another ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address. Couldn't find it. Said he couldn't increase my limits. Told me to check the public records and have them corrected. So I hung up and called again, that time I got the nice woman who liked me.

I'll be making more videos and doing an entire thread dedicated to a tutorial. I'll use all sorts of different names and addresses as a proof of concept. Give me a week to get it all done.

But when I sell to capacity with safe products I get an automatic limit increase every 25 days. In fact the older accounts go up quicker and quicker. I end up getting a 1000 increase per week until I run out of items and cant max it any further.
