UK bank problems with paypal!?!?

Can anyone advise on this, basically the past couple of times using paypal after putting in bank details, with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, then a few days later making a withdrawl to my bank I get an email stating "Your bank notified us of unauthorised Electronic Fund Transfers from your bank
account"
What is this about? Ive never had this before, have they now clicked on to the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names?
I dont even get the chance for the codes to arrive in my bank, any advice urgently appreciated.

Hmmm, it seems your bank is getting the name you're using on Paypal and not accepting the funds. You may want to try a new bank.

I checked my bank online and the deposits are there so the bank is accepting them, i also googled unauthorised Electronic Fund Transfers from your bank and found a site where someone else had has this and they used real details, she spoke to the bank who had no records of anything like this so she rang paypal who said her bank account had been closed?!?!

So I dont understand, is this just a made up excuse from paypal to limit account??? maybe I should ring bank and see what they say.:(

It's a new thing from Paypal, it was happening with ING bank accounts but no other from what I can see. Where do you bank?

i bank with lloyds which apprently a few people have had problems with lately

Hmm, I see. Well natwest, hsbc and halifax have been confirmed working by one user, you may want to try one of them. Try a checking instead of savings account.

I have Lloyds current account & have not had a problem.

Was yours a Lloyds SAVINGS account?
