Re: MC999 xxx, changes to your eBay seller limits
The following is all 100% my opinion and some of it comes from the tinfoil hat I wear on a daily basis -
31 is not enough to increase your average sales.
eB is giving you what they think you need, and they don't think you need more than 22/500. You need to prove them wrong.
You will not be stuck at 22/500 forever. They do reevaluate every month as they say they do, and if you cap yourself out every month you're going to get another bump.
Also, with #'s... I find a lot of crazy coincidences with the numbers of feedback, the numbers of sales, and the amount of selling increase I receive.
I've had accounts that have 35 sales and 10 feedback that get limits increased to 35/1000 (the exact number of my number of sales). And Ive seen similar relationships to amount of feedback received as a % of my total sales. If I have 10 fb and 20 sales, I'll have an account go to 50/2500 (exactly 50% of 100/5,000, which is also my fb : sales ratio)
The answer is: who the hell knows? Cap out your limits every month and make more accounts and you'll be good in the long term.
