CONFIRMED NOT TO WORK:

• ALLY BANK will not allow deposits from paypal in different names nor multiple savings accounts.Will shut down accounts. AVOID 3/11/2012
• Capital One Banking - One account is fine, but multiple accounts receiving funds in different names is a red flag, and they will shut you down. Not recommended.

• DCU–Digital Federal Credit Union–Banking - Having issues with PayPal, best to avoid - planes

Wauchovia: multiple accounts receiving funds in different names gets everything shut down. Not recomended[*] AccountNow & Metabank being rejected by paypal (again) 8/27/2009: prepaid bank not liked. paypal limiting accounts

US Merchant Accounts:
First Data Card Services (Spoke with them 3 months ago and setup an account, worked with ebay)

I have used EmigrantDirect on multiple accounts...Verifies fine.

BUT EmigrantDirect, told me that it will deny 3rd party withdrawals(any account that is no on your funding).I havent tried to withdraw money from PayPal with it.

Capital one online savings works, verified fine, have to link it to external checking account and can only do 6 transfers a month without a fee. Etrade savings account did not work, brokerage account did work. Savings account paypal deposits were returned...not sure why brokerage account worked and savings account did not, deposit sent in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ named paypal, into real account, again, did not work with etrade savings..fine with brokerage account

Simon cards purchased at mall no longer work to verify paypal, they will charge the card 1.00 and then 1.95, when you look for the EXPUSE code, you cannot see the number online, it says paypal charge but then shows paypal 402 phone number, no EXPUSE code. this just changed within last 2 weeks. Now using Vanilla mastercards that ebayhateluv mentions you can buy at stores.

Voicemailtel should be added for phone verification its located in Canada (i think it has US numbers too but i am not certain). They have excellent Live chat customer service. Also TD Toronto Dominion and TD Canada Trust is the same bank.

Update on Vanilla Mastercard, used one today to lift withdrawal limit on US paypal, same thing happened as with Simon, the 1.00 charged and then the 1.95, but this time when viewing the transaction online, no EXPUSE code showing. Dont know if this was just recently changed. Also i have used canadian voicemailtel for my ebay canada paypal accounts, just know that they have to call you on the phone number you list when you sign up for their service before they activate your number, or you can call them from the number you use on file if you want a canadian number really fast.

Simon Card purchased at Mall works with PP -- Heres How
 

I did this scheme yesterday .. October 8. I used a Simon gift card purchased at the mall. Card Works great. Not sure about online VCC, perhaps someone should try it and post results.

1. Register the gift card on Simon website with desired address info.
2. Go to your PP account main page.
3. Take the steps to activate the PP Plugin.
4. When activating the PP pluigin, you will be required to use a credit card to verify your address. Use your Simon card CC number, name. address, etc to verify your address.
5. PP will charge the 1.00 to your card to verify. The 1.95 charge and expuse number are not required.
6. Your PP account will immediately be verified and the PP plugin will be activated so you can create VCC numbers.
7. Note that the withdrawal limit is NOT lifted, you are still at 500.00 a month. However, using the PP Plugin, you can "withdraw" 1000.00 a day using VCC Numbers. VCC charges do not reduce the 500.00 monthly limits.
8. Using the plugin and VCC is better than withdrawal into bank accounts as these VCC charges cannot be recalled like bank account withdrawals. Get and use a merchant account to use with plugin VCC numbers.

I have use the ING direct savings accounts for paypal for months without problems. You can have a maximum of 30 savings accounts. When I reach the limit I combined the old bank accounts attached to old or suspended ebay accounts and create new ones. I have created over 60 paypal accounts this way. I started this when ebay required a verified paypal account to sell on ebay in May or June 2008

Please note I do not use the paypal accounts. I only verify them and attach them to ebay accounts. I collect payments through CCNOW and auction checkout.

I got two Vanilla Visa cards from CVS the other day and when I went to register them - the only question asked was my zip code. How can I use these cards for eBay or PAYPAL if they don't have a name and address attached to them? Do they only look for Zip codes? I just figured that they wouldn't work because there is no name and address and I was going to spend them for groceries or something.

You should still be able to use them. Input whatever name and address you want, keep your same zip code. It should work out.

I did add them to my PAYPAL accounts to get the $500.00 limit removed and today I got the $1.95 charges and the 4 digit codes. Now I have 5 eBay/PP accounts that are confirmed and verified with no limits!! I haven't set up any seller accounts yet but I am going to start out buying a few items. I am just going into each new account every day and surfing and asking a few questions. I use separate User Accounts so I don't worry much about cookies. In fact, I want them to see what I am doing because I am trying to act like a Newbie.

Just used Simon giftaccount to verify a new eBay account, new Payapl account AND receive the 4 digit EXPUSE number from paypal.
Simon giftaccount had NO problems for me.

UPDATE, Capital One will call if you open too many accounts and want to know why the paypal micro deposits are in different names, so it seems Capital One Online savings are no longer a good option.
