| | | mmartin9999 | 02-09-2015 11:46 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Hadn't made any accounts in a few weeks but did 10 today to see how things were. Glad to see not a single 0/0 but there were 8/10 5/500 and 2/10 10/1000.
Luckily in my experience the 5/500's are quicker to increase than the 10/100, and I've had several of the 5/500's end up at 270/27000 in just 60 days.
I also listed on 2 of my new accounts right after creating. 12 hours later and still no MC. I'll slowly list on the other 8 over the next few days. Wish I didn't need them selling yesterday and had time to rest them more. |
| aking | 02-11-2015 08:36 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now I made 2 accounts the other day and got 10/1000 limits on both. I also turned an old buyer account from 2010 into a seller account and it also got 10/1000 limits. |

| khanxyz0z | 02-17-2015 11:17 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Ive noticed that if you attach a gift card to ebay directly when setting up seller account, you never get 0/0, but when you attach entropay to paypal then attach paypal(no vba) to seller account when setting up, you will 50 percent of the time get 0/0
And for ppl in the U.S its unfortunate that we can cant attach entropay directly, since they always suspend you for having a card from diffrent country
Its ok with paypal not ebay
Anybody know the exact reason why attaching paypal to seller account its always a miss or hit of getting the 0/0? |
| SheilaPazera | 02-17-2015 11:38 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Ok, what does everyone mean when they say don't make your ebay account a seller account first, I didn't know there was an option or button to push that determines what your account is? Please explain someone |

| khanxyz0z | 02-18-2015 06:40 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Yes, by setting up the payment for fees to cc instead of paypal, thats only because with a unverified paypal it was sometimes a hit or miss |

Please explain someone | When you create an Ebay account, they give you the option to select either Seller account or Personal account |

Please explain someone | When you initially make the account, if you are making it just to bid on items or pretend to send in best offers so on. Then its just a BUYER account.
Its not till you go to list an item that it walks you thru extra steps such as confirming your phone number with either a text or a phone call, then follows thru to confirm how you would like to pay your ebay fees, such as paypal so on.
Once you do all that it will lead you back to your listing and let you know if it was successful if it was now you have a seller account.
Also you can go to ebays help pages and search how to make a seller account and you can make a seller account without actually listing anything yet. |
| livelifewild | 02-28-2015 02:56 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now How is everyone doing on the new accounts?
Been making a few a week, getting either 10/1,000 or 5/500.
No 0/0's
Let me know how everyone is doing, curious. |

| newjerseymax | 03-03-2015 11:54 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now It worth calling in with 0/0 the questions are cake.
Its very simple stuff like "where do you keep the items your selling?", "do you have receipts?", "what are you selling?"...etc...etc.. Very basic things a kid can answer...
They usually give you 10/1000 to start.... You can try to get higher limit by wanting to sell a car, but not always a go. |
| slokor | 03-03-2015 01:54 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Actually those are the questions they ask you when you get the first restriction AFTER you already post your first item for sale.
With the 0/0 limits they ask you public database questions which are NOT the same and are NOT so easy to answer. |
| bluegrass1 | 03-04-2015 03:18 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Yep been getting the 5/500 over and ovr lately better than 0/0 but still a slow start anyone got a 10/1000 last few days? |

| jswolcott | 03-20-2015 07:09 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Well I just got a 0/0 on my first ever stealth. I made the mistake of setting up the paypal fully verified with a LLC I registered for this situation. Getting the LLC was a long and some what costly process. So I'm not thrilled at all.
Because I was foolish enough to set this all up under the LLC I would like to get the 0/0 raised on this account and go forward. However, it sounds like the only way to do that is a call in and verifying with faxed ID. I see a lot of great idea about how to create a new account that wont get 0/0 however I would love to just save this account. Any chance? |

| jswolcott | 03-21-2015 06:22 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now I did use google voice. Gotta get it removed from the list on the manual it looks like =( |
| jswolcott | 03-21-2015 06:25 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now My beef now is that I just burnt up an LLC. Also, after reading every thing in here I'm beginign to think that ebay in general is not an option for a viable, sustainable, stable business. I'm not selling any thing even remotely risky. For gods sake I have spools of thread I'm sitting on right now. At least with Amazon if there is a mistake they let you explain yourself. I'm going to look at bonanza... it looks like margin on sales there is not so bad. |
