How I got around the 21 day hold

I think i have found to way to get around the hold it worked me on a number of held transactions. I had posted it here but then i thought about it for a second that wasnt too smart. So message me if you want to know and i will only tell it to members with proven rep. Also note im not asking for payment or anything just wanted to share something that worked for me.

sunnylhy 11-18-2008 12:07 PM

cath 11-18-2008 12:33 PM

besides waiting 2 days after delivery confirmation or if that fails the full 21 days. I would be eager to know. I am not back up on E-Bay yet but will be soon, Thanks for all your help everyone!!!!. If I remember correctly they only hold money on new accounts.

So lets see here....
You have made 1 post that you should have never made because you never read the original post.
And you have been a member for what????.... 20 days?
Give me a break.

Well, I haven't been a member forever or anything. I know this method and another one. Personally I don't think it should be handed out. Especially to someone with 1 post...... just my opinion if that counts for anything.

Heres the REAL WAY TO GET AROND THE 21 DAY HOLD:

READY..?

DITCH PAYPAL..GET APPROVED FOR A MERCHANT ACCOUNT..

sunnylhy 11-18-2008 08:46 PM

Im just trying best to get the problem solved.

JamesYaBaoy 11-18-2008 09:25 PM

But seriously..pretty much all the SERIOUS problems I have had with eBay have been because of PayPal, PayPal+eBay = Trouble(maybe not now, but eventually)

PayPal can destroy your business and lock your account without notice.....Im not sure aobut you but im not willing to take that risk.

Heres a classic story(has happend to probaly everyone on this forum)

PayPal limits your account for "High Risk"
1.eBay account limtied
2.eBay dispatches emails to buyers telling them to file claims
3.All A**hole buyers and scammers file PayPal Claim
4.PayPal account goes from $XX,XXX to negative in less than 24 hours.

Solution:

CartManager + Merchant Account

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. The problem for most is getting your ebay account approved to not have to use paypal. (not a problem for me :D )

Also there are other solutions besides cartmanager like Auctiva and a couple other checkouts. Personally I'm not a fan of cartmanager.

But that exact scenario just about got me divorced.

JamesYaBaoy 11-18-2008 10:36 PM

Yes, there are alternatives to cartmanager...

Not too hard to get approved for a merchant account..Just find a good solid merchant account provider..and be sure to fax eBay ATLEAST 2 pages.

Auctiva is FREE and allows you to integrate your authorize.net account with it.

Agreed. PP is a waste of time. The hoops they make you jump through is ridiculous

Hottest_eBay_Goddess 11-20-2008 12:55 PM

Did anyone happen to get this method from her that is willing to PM me with the information? I just noticed she hasn't been on in over a month now! :(

The methods are a waste of time. Either deal with Paypals holds and ship with tracking numbers, or get limited.

Here We Go Again 11-21-2008 08:30 AM

The method I use to release my money stuck in the 21 day hold system works everyday and has been for months.
So I don't see this method I use as a waist of time.
I see it as VERY helpful in the fact that paypal is not stealing MY money for 3 weeks.

Burst 11-21-2008 07:49 PM

That method works here and there. But PP isnt as naive as you think. SWIM found out the hard way.

You claiming to be a lawyer should know...

Burst 11-22-2008 08:48 PM

Private messages are all the rage Modee.

Anyways SWIMs still using SWIM.

Here We Go Again 11-23-2008 12:30 AM

No offense Burst but your "SWIM" makes you sound like a total moron.
I am sure you are not a moron but you are sounding like one every time you type it.
