I want to access my accounts while at the girlfriends house, when I change my laptop in the next few months it would also be helpful but I also don't like having multiple user accounts under different peoples names on my computer. I would prefer to have "my computer" and then a seperate OS with multiple users running from a usb stick.

That sounds like a pain. You're better off with mobile browsers.

Thanks Aspkin but do you have any suggestions as to which browser would be best? Also would you just use a seperate broweser run from a USB stick on any Windows user ID? I connect using my 3g tethered connection.

I use Windows 8 to go.

I have installed it on a 1TB USB 3 drive and it works like a dream.

I plug it in to my PC and Laptop whenever it suits me.

With various user accounts setup naturally.

Windows 8 Enterprise has this facility available built in so I am told.

However Windows 8 is designed for this as a whole.

Here is a guide should anyone be interested.

The difference between this and Windows To Go is you can plug your Windows To Go flash drive onto ANY computer with decent hardware, and you can boot off of it

If you use the method in the video, you cannot use the windows installed on the flash drive onto any other computers but the one it was originally installed on.

Hence why I like the idea of "windows to go"......

However the browesers might also be a good option.

Thanks for all the replies.

For ease of use, I would prefer Firefox portable.

Let us know what you decide, Belfast.

Good Luck.

Definitely Portable Firefox or other Browser, that's really all you need , you can run them all from one user account and back them up on a USB , and if you need to operate from another location , simply use your USB

Don't bother with "Windows To Go". I tried it and had a bad experience.

You are definitely better off with portable browsers on a flash drive.

That's how I use It, I have all the portable browsers on one desktop just numbered , and than everything neatly in one folder labeled eBay, and than I backed everything up with my Sanddisk 32 GB wireless USB , comes in handy with Apple , iPad,etc..
