Has anyone heard about the Chinese customs in Shenzhen? My supplier told me all shipments passing through customs will be inspected and delayed by up to a week! Apparently due to phake currency being found so they are now inspecting every single parcel.
Nothing to worry about as mine aren't vero or anything, it's just the hold up that's bothering me.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has heard about this?

Hi, I don't think it's just Shenzhen customs. It's all customs in China. I bought a dress for my cousin's wedding and had it shipped via EMS and it went through the Shanghai customs, and it's been sitting there for over a week =(.
just checked my tracking number ut used to have busy route something. now checked and it says as normal so think all sorted now lets hope i get the item 2-3 days
Mine is via Ems and still sitting there. Normally although ems get here in 4 days or so. Been 7 since sent and this is last update i have.

Got my EMS shipment yesterday, took 8 days in total from despatch to delivery. Which is about right for an EMS shipment. Give it up to 10 days, maybe something might spike along the way or maybe tracking is just not updating for some reason and the item is closer to you than tracking suggests.
