Default Bank Account for PayPal

Hey guys new member to this forum and section. Just picked up both books and will start reading them tonight.

Before I get too deep, I'd like to prepare myself by getting some ideas on the best banks to use for a stealth PP account.

I am seeing some say VBA which I assume means virtual bank account. If so what are some the best banks to use?

I believe many are using PNC Bank and TD Bank? Sad thing about TD is that I do not have one locally, but there are a lot of PNC banks in my area.

Thanks guys and look forward to learning more.

VBA are supplied in the marketplace here.

Bare in mind that a VBA cannot be used to withdraw, just to verify the account. A real bank account will still be needed

Correct. I was planning to use a VBA to verify the account. Once all setup and ready to go and I actually have money in the account, then I'd withdraw to my actual checking account.

Which then leads to my next issue and that is I believe PNC is a good option as far as my bank that allows no matching name deposits?

If you can stick with BofA and Chase. Ive had mixed results with PNC, never with Chase or BofA.

Currently have Chase and BoA. I was actually looking for another alternative instead of opening multiple accounts at the same bank. I already have a couple accounts at each BoA and Chase.

PNC has worked fine for me for the last 6 months or so with mismatched names, though I don't receive a ton of deposits.

Other banks to consider are Wells Fargo and Citi. You can open accounts online if there are no branches near you.

Welcome to the forums OP - you can also open TD via calling them up. Docs will need to be submitted however.

I have PNC Virtual Wallet. It is 3 accounts in 1. I have had no issues at all with mismatch deposits.

Upside to Virtual Wallet - you do everything without branch/teller assistance.

Downside to Virtual Wallet - you do everything without branch/teller assistance.
