| khanxyz0z | 10-10-2014 12:42 AM | Re: I have tried to open an ebay account keep getting 0/0 limits This is becoming like the other 0/0 limit thread.
As mentioned earlier don't worry about anything, web browser, vba , tracfone yet just make sure you have a solid address.
Once you get the 10/1000 then sort the rest out
I'm telling you this by practice. |
| livelifewild | 10-10-2014 08:21 AM | Re: I have tried to open an ebay account keep getting 0/0 limits Yea you know I was going to ask you the same thing. How are you getting new ip addresses?
And are you keeping tracking of ALL your ips?
for the longest time I wrote them down on a notepad and would only back track a few days. Finally when I lost more then half of my accounts in 2 days out of no where. I decided to finally do an excel spread sheet. I actually made one on my phone so it makes it handier with each account on the comp. It takes a little time to make it depending on how many accounts you have but with the find feature you can type in the ip address and it automatically searches the whole document for you for that exact number.
Once I did this I was SHOCKED at how many repeat ips I would get in a weeks time that I never would have known before with the notebook method.
So it is imperative that you have a very sound ip tracking system and that you know that you know that you are not opening new accounts with ip addresses that you may have used in the past.
I strongly suggest tethering your phone for internet or a mifi. I never tried a dongle but I see other people have had success with that as well. |

Your doing nothing wrong , but the address.
Made 5 yesterday, 2 of them got the 0/0
I used
-texting apps for number
- only vcc for PayPal
- converted to seller without listing
Your biggest diffrence is to make sure you have a solid address
It doesn't matter how you make the account, with tracfone or texting apps with or without vba none of that matters regarding the 0/0 limits(does matter for long term use)
I've talked to a couple of reps, when I asked why I got this 0/0,all of them mentioned,
They recently implemented their new verification system, and if name and address does not match you automatically get the 0/0
They also mentioned the name of the person should be near mid 20's for the system to automatically know your a real person, otherwise enough data hasen't been stored for the person yet if your under let's say 22,
They use a third party system to verify the address and name, that's how they pull the public records, | You know this is just a thought and I could be totally wrong. But with this whole new 0/0 thing with new accounts and people saying they have even talked to ebay reps and had them say that they implemented their new verification system and that the name has to match up with the address....I am wondering if they are applying this Verification system to existing accounts?
And if the name does not match up to the zip code it flags the account and they either restrict the selling or ask for additional information. Because I have had a few stealth accounts go down in the last few days that were made 6 months or so that were solid and doing well. Barely selling anything, but were not made with the name matching the zip code method.
Its just a thought, but kind of scarey one because I have several older accounts I depend on that were not made with this newly discovered method. |

Hopefully i will get it right soon before xmas approaches because of course best selling time. I will try again see what happens! |
| nodeal | 10-10-2014 12:18 PM | Re: I have tried to open an ebay account keep getting 0/0 limits nicoleleeli, obtain your IP from a different source… preferably a mobile hotspot like what verizon provides as these have been successfully used by many members. See if you still get a 0/0 limit after this, of course while still using the same methods you have been using for name, address, tracfone, etc. |
| nicoleleeli | 10-11-2014 09:41 PM | Re: I have tried to open an ebay account keep getting 0/0 limits Yeah i am going to use my hotspot tomorrow and see what happens. I hope it works this time have my fingers crossed. |

Time saver. :) |

Time saver. :) | You mind sharing or even pm me on what mifis you have?
Only because I can not for the life of me find anything cheap and you say you have them for $20-30 a month!
Awesome and good job!
I pay like $60 and $80
The only cheap one I have is tmobile and its $30 for 3 gb and thats only because its added onto my existing cell phone plan with 3 other cell phones. If it was just a plan for the mifi only it would be like $50-60 dollars.
So if you could share the wealth on the $20-30 plans that would be so helpful you have no idea! :hail: | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:18 AM. | |
