3 paypal accounts limited ???????
 

Hi just had 3 accounts restricted by Paypal but ebay is ok. The accounts were bought accounts and been great for a year with no issues. There is no option to review them. The new paypal agreement states that paypal are now using a 3rd party to examine accounts and using credit agencies to check identity.
Has anyone else come across this?
I managed the accounts and always used different IP;s for each separate account on different user accounts.
Any more thoughts on this please.

You are not alone. Same problem, 2 accounts down no Reason. But it seems to be the issue with ID Docs. Call them up and keep us updated.!

No bothered about the £300 in the accounts but need another account and am concerned that paypal will continue to scrutinise accounts. My seller on this forum is looking into this and said he will no longer sell accounts until its sorted. Im nervous of buying another account incase this is to become a regular occurance. Can any other sellers give me some further reassurance or advice.

Did you perhaps receive funds outside of ebays platform?

Can you also elaborate as to why you assume its the documents that caused your year old accounts to get limited?

i think the documents that caused my year old accounts to get limited is because i contacted the seller on this forum and thats what he thinks. He said he is not going to sell any more until its resumed. He informed of the last paragraph on new paypal user agreement. Foxtrom also had exactly same problem.

Apparently a 3rd party company can scan documents with 99% accuracy and also experian are also checking accounts for credit history.

I suspect its the documents because;
1. Thats what the limitiation states when you log in.
2. Why would they close all the accounts at the same time.
3. I've heard paypal has new and strict tactics in place to detect information.

@ Moxy, alot to try to be honest. Perhaps Amazon or New Accounts altogether, its very hard to predict their next more.

Paypal wont openly say it was the docs that got you limited. They are usually VERY vague.
Accounts can also all be closed at the same time if they were linked some way or another.
For example you could have added a VCC that was in a bad batch etc.

Also these new paypal ways that they detect info is only in effect next year.

They havnt told me anything im going to call them tomorrow. It wasnt an ip link as i log each ip and hadnt used the other 2 accounts for about a week. Also not vcc.

When I called the first time, I was told it might have been an error, and I would receive a call back from them within 24hrs which I didn't receive so I called again and I was told it will take upto 10days!! that the account is under review.

Will contact them myself tomorrow and let you know but looks like all 3 are toast !!!!

10 days....you wont hear back from them on that. Probably receive a parting ways email or something similar

So what would you advise? End all my active listings and say goodbye to my ebay and paypal account? I have £300 still stuck with paypal.

Money should be released to you after 180 days.

Bare in mind this is not guaranteed though.

I Guess I will only leave a few pounds every single time just incase. one minute you're in bussiness the next minute you're out.

Contacted Paypal today and told to upload id docs. I did this and was told they would get back to me in 24hrs.
3 Hours later this happens :
