Paypal Contradiction

My paypal account is limited due to me violating the Paypal User Agreement and what I violated wasn't stated plus no evidence of me violating it.

I had an account before my current one and it was permanently limited due to my age, therefore I phoned up Paypal and they said I can create a new account. Plus there is email proof of that.

When I sign into paypal, it states that I can't appeal against my case which makes my account permanently limited. However, I received this email from paypal:

Quote:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your account has been limited
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear ***** *****,

To help protect our customers’ accounts, we routinely review account
activity. It appears that you have more than one account, and one of them
has engaged in activity that violates our User Agreement.

As a result, we’ve restricted both accounts. You’ll still be able to log in
to view your transaction history, but you won’t be able to send or receive
money.

What happens next

As allowed under the User Agreement, we’ll hold the money in your account
for 45 days. We may use your balance to reimburse buyers who file claims,
chargebacks or any other reversals against you. Before we reimburse the
buyer, in most cases, you’ll have a chance to respond to the claim,
chargeback or reversal.

We’ll send you an email after 45 days letting you know when you can
withdraw money from your accounts.

What to do if you think this is a mistake

If you think this decision has been made in error, you can appeal. To do
this, please visit the Help Centre at www.paypal.co.uk and click Contact
Us.

When you contact us, please have the following documents ready:
1. Your passport, driver’s licence or another form of ID issued by the
Government
2. Recent utility bill
3. Business registration number or proof of company registration (if your
account is in the name of a company).

Yours sincerely,
PayPal
I called Paypal up and they told me I can't appeal against this decision.

What should I do?

Re: Paypal Contradiction

That's just the way paypal works.
Most of the time the costumer service reps don't know what theyre talking about and in this case when you opened your account the paypal bots - who ALWAYS know better - caught it and limited it as well.
Bottom line - when you call in don't believe a word they tell you cause they themselves have no clue as to how their system works. Theyre kept in the dark to make sure no 'secrets' are ever leaked out to communities like ours.

The ebay stealth doesn't have a definite answer to this case, but I'm guessing you mean make a stealth account.

You would need a database for that.

Wow how do you handle that many? All active? Any insights on processes to use to handle that many, listing software, shipping managers etc

When you make the choice ot run multiple accounts, you work out before the methods.

Lots of thinking outside the box is needed ;)

:focus:

OP, you might re-read this thread

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/uk-ebay...permanent.html

In Post 8, I did say to be careful of what you did as this age issue would come against you.

Wish you had believed me. Sadly i expected your report of being permanetly limited within 6 months of their fibs.

And here you are. paypal never intended to allow you to use them long term.
They have operated like this for all the years I have used them
:pout:

Weird question - Omgoozle knows stealth well...it's easy to keep them "unlinked" if you are careful

If their lips are moving they telling lies good rule for PayPal or Ebay. Each day is day closer to when I can survive without both. I could now if wanted to just have to cut expenses.

Ive mastered the use of stealth with mobile devices and all is going good.
But im aware that i have much more to learn regarding accounts on a laptop.
User accounts, ip,s, dongles, etc....
It will all be new to me Rsot as ive never really been a laptop user :-)
