Permanent!!

Okay so a month ago I went above my £1900 by hitting £3400 so Paypal suspended my account so I decided to wait till I was 18 (2 days ago) to verify personal information and send documents. So I called up Paypal just now and I told them that my information has been reviewed and my account shows that it has no limits but I had no access to the money in it. The guy replied saying my paypal account has been permanently suspended because when I signed up I wasn't 18 and he said he will request a new account for me.

What I want to know is that if this "new account" won't have a 21 day hold or anything which restricts me from taking out money. Will my bank account details be there? Will I have to verify it again? If so, I'm going to be invisible on Paypal's radar hahaha.

Has anyone been through this situation? It just hurts to wait over month to find out that my paypal account is permanently suspended and people say that patience is a virtue. Paypal just stopped my best income like that.

What was weird is that the Paypal guy asked me if I have another Paypal account and I was thinking isn't someone allowed to only have 1 paypal account? I answered no obviously lol.

If he is requesting they re-open your account then your information will all be the same.
If it is a completely new account it is highly likely that there will only be your information on the account. You cannot have the same bank account on more than one paypal account so that wont happen.

I have never heard of this happening with paypal..

You are allowed more than one paypal account ( 1 business & 1 personal )

My suspended account is premier. Lets say they re-open or give me a new account and then I sold something on ebay for £100-£1000 (my last item sold for £3400 in June), would my money get held? The people I do business with are not a fan of money being held.

it is such a rare issue, that not seen on forum experience, whether or not they continue on from old account or see it is as new.

what I do not understand is why they do not ask you to sign up for a new acc, instead of 'requesting' one, not sure what request means exactly.......

again your money, is it held for 180 days?

to be honest I would be grateful if they actually allow you to get a new account in the same details anyway...you would need the go-ahead in writing.....you may need to go stealth otherwise, so by all means wait and see and hope for the best but be prepared. Do not, sign up for any new stealth accounts before getting all the info on how to do so first.

Exactly, the paypal guy wasn't really clear and I didn't want to extend the conversation in case he decides to do something that will not please me. He said my money will be released within 24 hours and that's why I'm having doubts that they will re-open my account. Hopefully they do.

I've been selling on ebay for 2 years, when you have 100% feedback, people would trust you and will be willing to spend thousands. That's what I've learnt over the years.

I know exactly how to go stealth, I've read the guide multiple times so going stealth isn't a issue for me. What would upset me is if the new paypal account acts as a "NEW" paypal account. I don't want to go through that 21 day hold or any over money hold again. If things go Paypal's way then I have no choice but to make 5-10 stealth accounts.

All I need is my paypal account back and the £££ will start rolling in.

If you are doing business like that, you are going to have hassles with paypal.

paypal are not going to 'give' you a new account.

You need to make one yourself.

BUT be careful of how you do this. That age issue will come against you.

I think they mentioned on here to keep transactions around £500 limit for none suspicious activity

They sent me an email saying I can now open a new account. The age issue won't come against me since I'm the "right" age for Paypal use now.

Now, I'm just thinking if I should register for a business paypal account. What is the real difference for people selling on ebay?

No the money in my suspended PP account got transferred to my bank account within minutes today. 180 days is a option for me and I didn't accept it.

Why would I need to make a new IP address when Paypal said I can make a new account?

You have been selling on ebay for two year?
You are selling items with a value of £3400?
You just recently reached the 1900 limit?
