Default Newbie here

Hey guys!
I just read the ebook and have a few questions!

I was thinking of renting a mailbox forwarding service but the issue with that is that the same mailbox address may have already been used in the past by another stealth member since most of these mail forwarding companies give everybody the same residential address, and only differentiate your post by the name who the post is addressed to. To get around this, I only have physical access to 1 address (a relatives) but I wouldn't like to register my stealth account to their house so would it be fine to register my stealth account to a non existing/abandoned address and just give out prepaid labels with my relatives address on to my customers for returns?

Also, what order should I do everything in order to get this stealth account up and running? Shall I make a bank account, a credit card, Ebay account and then my Paypal or shall I do Paypal first and then Ebay?

Thanks for the tip! I think I read somewhere that Ebay UK frown upon po boxes. It just gives them more reasons to be suspicous. By the way, I think this might be more relevant for the UK users but basically for each stealth Ebay account you need a Paypal account with a different bank account attached, so how do some users make loads of stealth accounts per year? Wouldn't it be difficult to keep opening new bank accounts since it impacts your credit score? And the banks themselves would stop issuing new bank accounts once they realise that you've already opened a few in the last 6 months?

Sounds great mate I never knew about that! I understand that we need to wait atleast a few weeks before we sell our first item but how long should we wait if we wanted to sell high risk items? I don't really have many low risk items that I could sell, just a few,so I'd be selling them low risk items to start off with and then hoping to start selling my real items soon. What would you advise?

Get a basic account for easier use with paypal.

Never use an abandoned address. You need access for returns.

Set the account up from the start to work well.

You go slowly but carefully. Be careful of relisting your 'real items' if they are what caused your suspension.

Thanks I'll follow your advice. By 'Set the account up from the start to work well' did you mean create the Ebay account first and then Paypal?

Hi, I always set my Paypal accounts up first and get them verified before I open an Eb account.

Actually I do it the other way.

Set up paypal, verifiy and confirm it. Then add ebay to it.

All ready to fly

Thanks for the advice Is there any way of trying to avoid the initial low limits?

Crossing fingers and avoiding black cats can work.

Carefully created accounts, with proper addresses , verified & confirmed paypals help, imo.

Consider buying an account, plenty of account sellers on here selling accounts with various limits, then you have no worries, will probably have the 21 day hold on funds from any sales but that soon passes, not a good idea probably to get going with a new account until after the xmas season while ebay and PayPal are just looking for accounts to limit or even ban completely
