As regards buying stuff with your stealth account with no viable address, find a seller that has e-mail listed at the bottom of the page then email (not within eBay) them a random question about the item.
Soon as they respond, purchase the item and fire the seller another e-mail saying you're going on holiday for a week or two. Ask them to delay sending the item until you return as you live in a shared flat.
If they contact you sometime after, tell them you haven't returned, but that they can continue to hold or send it to you Mom's address.
Tips:
1. Look for sellers that have low daily sales. - So your e-mail will not drown in a pletoria of other enquirers.
2. If you don't get a response, don't purchase.
3. Don't make yourself obvious to eBay and don't shop for pennies either. Buy seemingly related stuff to dispel any suspicion, e.g a Mathematical set, then buy a calculator, a rim of A4 paper, etc. |
