What do you do with accounts that are 'cooling off'?

I have an account that I want too cool off for a while. Having tons of user accounts for all your eBay/Paypal accounts can get crowed.

How do you go about using your accounts and what do you do with the ones you're letting cool down? If I delete the user, then all the saved cookies will be gone.

I'm sorry I was a bit confusing..

I have 6 user accounts on my macbook. For the people that run 50 accounts or more, how do you guys manage them? 50 different user accounts?

Yes. I have 125 user accounts per laptop bc after that many Win7 seems to get gummed up. I have 3 machines.

Correct, hence it's easier/more manageable to start with user accounts because as mentioned before- You need to hit REALLY high numbers per machine to really slow things down.

I'd advise anybody, even seasoned stealthers to just keep it simple and keep it clear- One user account per user, log the IP, keep an excel/notepad file up to date to have a nice and easily readable log that you can work with and just spend that extra couple of minutes per account to switch.

Simple is not only easier, but more often than not more reliable as well.

I strictly use Portable Browsers. It allows me to stay on 1 User Account, allows me to work on other things at the same time, no need to switch between accounts.

just install a folder on desktop and run portabable browser it keeps cookies completely separate.

just have to worry about flash cookies. but it takes 2 seconds to disable them.

I have a windows 7 machine with 400 user accounts on it.
It runs smoothly with no issues whatsoever - and it is by no means a top of the line machine. I ran this setup on my previous laptop as well from 4 years ago.

I downloaded portable google chrome on my mac and it ran terribly slow and couldn't figure out how to save each profile.

I thought about going to a portable browser but it seems like my screen would be terribly busy. I like to keep them separate just bc I have a nice system down I don't like to deviate from. I usually always have eBay, PayPal, gmail and Dazzle open all at once.

Not sure how this would work on a portable setup.

As for cooling off, I just stop selling for awhile and buy shipping products, search around and watch things.

I absolutely love VMware in combination with using VPN for most of my accounts, I can have 5 different computers running at the same time all with different ips, makes multi-tasking extremely convenient & easy!

And by cooling off do you mean that you are closing in on your EU limits or do you mean that you have sold too much, too quick and want to take couple of weeks/months slow?

if you want to delete a user, you just need to re-make a user acc and then browse a bit on eb and pp, and you are good to go. 21 day hold might come back, so do a test listing and watch the confirmation page to see if it is subject to a hold....

its actually the login info and secret questions spreadsheet for all those accs that you need to guard with your life and have a backup version of it.....
