Did you try going to the gateway for the device 192.168.1.1 and disconnecting with the software and reconnecting? Not sure if it would give a new I.P. I'm going away soon too, so I might try and find a way. Edit: It works;
Go to 192.168.1.1 log in with the following details
Username: admin
Password: admin
Click on System and then on the left hand side click "Device Settings" which expands and shows a few options, click "Reboot". Wait for it to reboot and the device changes I.P. (Just tested it).
