I've been calling in to raise my limits for 4 years now. In fact, when I need something done like a defect descored, INR protection case that shows delivered closed, or feedback looked at and taken off I even ALWAYS choose "Selling limits" tab before I get the code to call in the "Help and Contact" section. This always routes them to Utah if the account is already at or above 100/items month. The system AUTOMATICALLY routes you there... And they are great people to talk to if you know your stuff. It doesn't matter what I need done, they always get it done for me fast and nicer than any other call center location. I've never had an issue with a limit increase, save one time that the account was literally brand new and I was testing to see how new I could get increases on accounts. Other than that you are pretty safe after 45 days (others say 1 month, and even others say 3 months).

This does bring up another topic related to increases that I have yet to figure out....the 1000/20k starting limits on accounts...how in the world is that done? I have only seen the "no threshold limit" on new stealth accounts I've created, but never the 1000/20k starting limit as most all start at 10/1000 or 5/500. Mind you I haven't actually created a stealth account myself in about a year as all my others have been flying strong, or I've purchased them for lack of time of creating. Its obviously a bot increase or just some random high starting limit right? Anyone willing to share info would get a high five :)

The testimonials just keep pouring in...even from people who have PURCHASED accounts from this very forum.....calling eBay not only works, it's EASY.

You won't get any answers on the high account limits question....the account sellers are VERY protective of their businesses, going so far as to bash good advice to keep people in the dark that certain tactics (like calling eBay) work.

The best answer I can give you is experiment. I'm still trying to crack that code myself.

I got 100% success for my 12 accounts.. dont throw away 0/0 or 5/500 limit...

i see here all over talk about selling limits, i'm really new to the game, is there any limits to my account i need the adhere to? is there some official amazon notice what my limit is?

Not sure about Amazon since I dispise the way Amazon is set up for selling. But I think they are talking about eBay no monthly selling limits.

grr, got hit with 0/00 today. Called in and due to the selling category and me not passing ID verification through their system, mandatory 5/500 for the first 90 days. Stupid.

When I call in - it works 100% of the time. Limits go up for sure. Wait 30 days after new account created.
Aside from the usual questions I've been asked a few questions that caught me off guard.... where do you get your products from, is the inventory on hand ready to ship now, and how many items do you have right now. Confidant, simple answers, not too much detail works every time. Those have been the only odd questions I've ever had. But I hav NOT been asked these every time. Just every once in awhile.

when they asked me i say i get them from garage sales and/or stuff kids left when they moved out or stuff my ex wife left when she left me. (sob story follows) oh oh this is dark but maybe say a death in the family?

Who cares? If you are such a candidate and become executive vip then it is of little or no value, as the standards are obviously low.

Child, I couldn't care less about my "canidacy". I will NEVER hold any title or rank of any significance in this forum. I pissed off so many "important" people here in my first month here that I could discover and share a method to make account suspensions impossible and I'd still be unpopular here.

Not too hard. Tho after selling for 3 years, and reaching my $5000 limit, countless times, and selling 20-50% of my limit, they only raised me to $8750. What a weird number.

My item limit is at 100, and they said I need to sell at least 50% of my item limit, to get that increased.

I bought a account off a seller here about 4 months ago and i recently checked the deleted messages and gues what i had found? several chat transcripts with ebya and a email saying 'allowance increse' inside the message it said 'after out chat we are emailing to confirm we have increased you limits'

Yes, but you can easily "cheat" this, by increasing the quantity of your Buy It Nows" up to the limit of your account. Just spread them out over all of your items.

That's funny, though unsurprising. In their "defense" they didn't technically "call" eBay. :lol:

What he means is, if you're slaving while be self-employed, you might as well work for someone else.

Having time to post in the forums, or to do whatever else you may desire with your time, is the entire purpose of self-employment for the majority of those who choose to walk this path.

I wasn't addressing you, although not at all surprised in your belief of being able to read others minds.

Being self employed means what ever the person doing it, wants it to mean.
I enjoy working hard and building things for the future, I guess some people are cut out for it, and some are not.

If someone wants to work 8 hours a week fine, if someone wants to work 80, then that is fine too.

I enjoy what I do and and have my own opinion of where stealth will be in the future, so choose to make as much as I can whilst I can. That isn't slaving away.

There are not many if any retail jobs in the UK where I can make anywhere near what I do now, unless I was a director anyway. Everyone here is on a different level and a different stage of stealth. Some can only get minimal allowances when they open new stealths, some don't have this problem.

It is foolish to presume that everyone has the same bounderies and limits to what they can do in stealth. To generalise that anyone working lots of hours on ebay would be better working for someone else, just highlights the ignorance and lack of knowledge of some on here. :)
