I replied directly to the eBay email saying I got a message from a buyer (it was a complaint about shipping). When I replied, it never went thru. It shows that I sent a reply on gmail, but does not show anything sent on eBay.

Today, I received 3 negative feedbacks from that buyer saying that I had terrible customer service.

I'm hoping I can work it out with him...

Can anyone tell me anything I may have done wrong for the message to not go through? Thanks

Did you reply from the gmail registered to eBay?

Was the an actual message or a message in a case?

Hmm.. I feel stupid. The email was forwarded to my main email account and I replied from there. I would say that would be the problem, but I've replied to PLENTY of messages from the forwarded email.

He bought 3 different items

That would 100% be the problem. I am supprised you have never had this issue before.

It's a honest mistake, try messaging the buyer and apologizing. I've found that quite a few buyers are understanding and will retract the negative feedback.

Phone the buyer and lift the game....

Think carefully of what to say before you do a thing.

Double check the set up of your message system. You can not afford glitches.

Buyer may be open to revision of feedback if you communicate with him well.

I've fully refunded his items and he understands. I even sent him a screen shot with my reply on the email and the date to show that I didn't ignore him. (Didn't show forwarded address)

Sent him feedback revision requests just now. Hopefully it works out.
