Google Voice Fowarding Number

So I was trying to make a Google Voice number and it Seems that Google Voice is not allowing tracfones as a Fowarding number?

When I input tracfone number and try calling to verify 2 digit code, it never rings and times out.

When I input my personal cell its rings.

Anyone having this issue?

I was just set up GV using tracfone just less than 12hrs ago, and it was fine... however the first time google tried to call, it wasn't rigning, but tried again and it rang.

Sometimes after activating tracfone u have to place a outgoing test call.

Yah that used to work. But now I have tried about 5 different phones. Nothing

Me too. Now its not working at all.

Maybe they are blocking them. I hate when you use gv for a new phone and then create another account it will verify phone but when u create another account it gets stuck after selecting the phone number crying about your forwarding phone can't be used.

Not sure how they can just block tracfone. Maybe the provider. This is a headache.

Verizon all day. They block them just like they block text free and other apps.

Some do if u can find them. I use different ways to get verizon phones and services.

Tracfone is an MVNO and uses the Verizon, Sprint, ATT and Tmobile networks depending on what phone you have. GV would only see that you have a Verizon phone or ATT phone depending on what you have, so I do not think that the provider is the problem. Also, I just registered a new tracfone and had no problems when attaching it to GV.

Just a recommendation:
I always go with these if they are in stock. They run on Verizon or sprint and always get the text or calls from EB and PP. Never had a problem with these.

Man thanks alot fox!. That is what I was thinking since its hard to tell which provider tracfone is using. But im guessing at&t might be blocked.

Im going to try these. Hopefully its a life saver.

I was having same problem yesterday using att tracfone. not receiving any call from GV... then i tried it with Verizon tracfone and it worked.

What color sim card is in the tracfone that doesn't work? I know a small percentage of them are having issues, but I've never run into them

Haven't been having any issues creating Google Voice accounts with my Tracfones.

Possibly just a glitch with your phone. Try another phone and/or model and see if that works.

I HIGHLY doubt Google would block an ENTIRE carrier....that would cut-off A LOT of customers for them.
