Why Tracfone?

I've decided to start creating my own accounts and have been doing research here and referencing with the stealth guide.

My question is why does everyone love to use Tracfones? How does that work anyway? You can just purchase a phone and put a prepaid amount of minutes on it?

The stealth guide mentions that you can just use a regular phone call redirection service. Create a number on a site, and just have the calls forwarded to any real phone you have. And it lists plenty of sites that do so. So why does this forum have a lot of users that love Tracfone? Am I missing something?

I also noticed that people mentioned it's only about $5, but I haven't seen that anywhere.

Slowly understanding how to make my own accounts. This is more interesting now than purchasing them

So I looked around and noticed that some guys use Tracfone just in case a text needs to be sent for verification purposes.

So then what's wrong with google voice? When I purchased accounts from sellers, they always come with a google voice number and I used that number for texting/SMS if I needed to verify something.

I'm trying to understand where Tracfone's play a role, and then sellers give buyers google numbers...I feel like a gap is missing in my understanding..

Using Google Voice on eBay will get you limits of 0/0 or 5/500. eBay does not like Google Voice. And while there ARE many forwarding services that work, many do not work. The super cheap ones usually don't.

As far as cell phones go, MOST of them will work for eBay and PayPal.

It is not that Tracfones have super capabilities other phones do not, but they are quite often on sale for $5 or $10, so that makes it cost effective. They are available just about everywhere and they are convenient. And it costs just under $7 per month to keep one going. So many people like them.

That does not mean that Verizon or StraightTalk or T-mobile won't work.

but what kind of limit will be getting with tracfones? if you have used, whats the general limit are you getting?

This is what I thought but I have purchased a high limit account in the past month that was created (within the past month) using google voice and the account is working well for me. When I tried with GV a couple weeks ago I got 0/0 limits.

I havent been able to get a google voice number in over a week now,
I used tracfones, and other providers as well
It lets me receive the call to confirm, after that i cant find any numbers for any area code.

Has this been happening to people lately?

They create the account with Tracfone and then switch to Google Voice after the fact.

5/500 limit a couple days ago with tracfone and vanilla visa

yes use the 2nd box instead of the first
