"Help us protect your account, update your info"
I have been getting "Help us protect your account" message on my accounts in the last few days when logging on. Ebay states "for a higher level of protection, make sure your personal info is up to date"
It then asks me for the my email and mobile phone#. I have responded on a few and used my Tracphones to get the pin and input it ok which all is good but I also get asked to click a link in my email to verify my email address. I have not done this and am wondering if I even need to click it as my account seem to be fine.
So do I even need to respond to this message? It does give an option of "maybe later" button. Will it go away or keep nagging me?
And lastly, I do not have a phone number to get a text for one of my accounts which I purchased from a now banned seller on here. He created the account with a google voice number. Should I add a new number (tracphone or text app) to this account? It is my best account to date so I am worried of losing it!
Thanks!
