on the 20th of october ebay sent me a message saying:
"Selling privileges have been temporarily restricted. You won't be able to list new items or revise current listings for 30 days"
while in that status my defect rate rose to around 5.03%, and i look at how i can lower my defect rate asap, i emailed ebay to remove an INR defect that was filed on nomvember for an item that was stuck at customs (customer rather opened an INR case then actually going through the procedure of releasing the package a**hole), i also talked to another customer of mine who opened an INR during november but the item showed up a day after and asked him to email ebay to remove that defect.
CS rep emailed me back about the "Stuck at customs" INR and said she will move it to another department and that my account will be reviewed there (nothing to loose if the defect wont be removed as i will fall below standard and my acc will get fudged anyway as i sell high risk items, that is why i didnt want to call them and put myself at a bigger risk)
anyway, i got an email back saying this defect will be removed, and 24 hours later it was.
the second defect i talked about was also magically removed today thank to the nice customer who went out of his way to talk to ebay.
today my 30 day restriction was also lifted
i never had my listing limit showing on my dash board, but was always limited at 150 items.
i went to relist items and found out i can do this:
is this some kind of bug?
does this happen after 30 day restriction and get back normal on the 1st?
my account is from 2008, i never asked for limit raise and was always at 150, mybe the person who reviewed the account noticed it is a very old account and raised my limits?
