Seller pretending to be UK rights holder (Vero)

There is a large seller of a brand on Ebay who claims to be the UK rights owner, he keeps reporting everybody else who sells the brand (I know a few people who have been reported by him). After contacting the brand at their USA base they said they had never heard of this guy who claimed to be the UK rights owner and that they have no authorised sellers on Ebay, this got reported to Ebay but nothing has changed. He's still on there with 2 accounts almost exactly the same. No idea how he's getting away with it and how to stop him knocking all the competition out.
Any ideas?

Has that been put in writing by the US company? Claims and action would be hard to do unless there is such a statment. Would be a 'he said, they said type' of matter.

Have your items been VeRO'd?

Because from what I've heard, despite speculation, eBay DO carry out large checks before authorising any VeRO members.

If they haven't been taken down, ignore it.
