Most Paypal users assume their account is invincible as long as they stay on top of customer service, until something like this happens.

paypal earns most of their money in that way. They have few billions frozen at any time.

If you can wait for 180 Days you will be all good!

i had about 4 PayPal accounts limited and i just had to wait the time frame and then got my money!

Such stories usually teach you two things:
1.Turn the autosweep feature on (if your business don't need that cash every day).
2.Stop putting all of the eggs in one basket and make some stealth accounts.

Did both after I had to wait 180 days to get my money back, was also six digits figures, hopefully you'll sort it out.

Update, got that big portion of the money out

But still have another 500k frozen from some additional PayPal accounts & stripe.

Just waiting to get paid.

For those wondering what I sell, & why theres so much.

I do direct response marketing - I sell courses, info products, and e-commerce.

We’re putting in 2k-13k per day in ads and generating 2-3x back.

& the reason why so much accumulated in PayPal is because they gave us 6 weeks to submit documents, but we could still process in the mean time.

We waiting until the last day to submit docs because we want to be able to accept PayPal payments even if it meant all the money being frozen - as a lot of sales come through PayPal and a lot of people don’t want to pay with credit card & I’f were not accepting PayPal, hurts our sales a lot.

Get a good 'full-stack' merchant account that accepts your business and don't offer PayPal anymore. You'd take in half your current earnings, but you'd sleep better, and your funds will not be held without your consent.

Hence the line that says he'd take in half his current earnings.
If you look at his post again you'd realise that PayPal can no longer be an option for this user due to his volume.
A merchant account seems like the most stable way to go.

Customers who need his product or service will pay by card.
His customers may prefer PayPal though they (probably all) have cards.

wow, did you manage to get it out? has the 180 days passed?

the way you get the time scale down is by pestering them.
and explaining there is not going to be anyone trying to claim money back,
send proof.

i don't know your exact circumstances like where the money was generated.
if its ebay upload tracking or send email with proof of postings,
and a big appeal.

or if its not ebay its easy.


they review it every 30 days.
i have that in writing
assuming release it as the risk factor lowers.

id be happy to help you i have reinstated many paypal accounts. and certainly can get that 180 days down especially if it was not in ebay.

This very bad. i was fall same problem before with 4K with 15 PayPal accounts. but i successfully withdraw to my bank one by one. try to link bank when passed 180 days you can withdraw. some time PayPal ask you phone verification when you try to withdraw to Bank. if you able to call then no need to worry about withdraw. Hope you got my point. Thanks
