Default Credibility "The buyer is always right"

Just like they say when you work in a retail store, " The shopper/buyer is always right". What boggles my mind is eBay/Paypal lack of research. They seem to just to take the buyers word on everything nowadays from what I heard from friends.

Back in 2007 I remember being able to settle a dispute with a buyer via Paypal in an assertive manner.

All of these automated notifications of suspensions, limitations, restrictions, without any prior warning and/or notice is downright ludicrous. My father has never been a member of eBay and wants me to run a "LEGIT" account given he does not want headaches or to be sued.

Does anyone know if eBay will give me a problem for having the same address. I don't want to go spend money on inventory and then not be able to set up an account. I guess I feel very overwhelmed for this was my livelihood for years and having worked other jobs the past 2 years, I'd love to go back into business for myself.

Kinda self-defeating to reuse an address if it is associated with a suspended account.

Why not have a P O Box and keep everything unlinked to old bad info?

oops! I re-read the post.... your Dad wants you to run an account with his permission?

Then ESSENTIAL to have a new address.

No way should this account be tainted by association with a suspended account.

Couldn't he say my Bi-Polar son no longer lives at home with us or they suspend the whole family.

I thought you need a physical addy, rather then just using a PO Box while setting up an account. I wasted so much time on other boards I'm going to be here full-time now trying to find my way back to the bay

Oh dear. That made me giggle! ebay has no heart. Would not fly that tale

Depending on your post office, some states offer P O Boxes that have a street address.

Options are out there....

Newbie here..thought i would chime in. I had something happen with regards to my father. Long time seller on ebay high limits 1200 in positive feedback. My father a novice to ebay sold a few bike parts from a harley and unfortunately the transaction went south. We both share the same exact name and at one point the same address. Both Paypal and Ebay suspended my accounts and is currently holding $9600 in funds. I verified myself a dozen times, provided countless documents with regards to my business and still...I was denied and deemed to much of high risk. Now here is the silly part..The total for my fathers small dealing a whopping $500!!!! Considering i sell gross amounts monthly of $25000 or more! I am 100% certain ebay is ran by the blind and incompetent!
