Sold too much and they want manufacturer receipts
 

But I can't provide them, anyone have any experience with this? This was my first account and in my name, I sold 25k worth in jan and they restricted my account till I provide manufacturer receipts, but I bought the stuff from people and don't even have receipts for that. I have buyers for the stuff I have a supplier for, but the problem is I have 3-4k worth of stuff I bought just to sell on ebay, now I owe ebay almost 3k, so I closed that credit card. But I'm worried that they might make my paypal account negative, or suspend it, will they? This account is over 10 years old but only been selling since july, did 32k last year and 25k in jan. Thank for any advice

i got just restricted also and i told the lady i was dropshipping i dont have receipts and some stuff was just stuff from my house. she said to send a letter stating all that

So when you were selling...did you have a plan in place when you began to reach the $20,000/200?

Is it because you sold under stealth but bought in real details, is that the issue?
You should have been prepared, but not too late to buy from some supplier and change date/quantities to supply an invoice, if you are stuck....

You did 32k the whole of last year, then 25k just in January?, it's a 10 year old account but you have only been selling on it since July?, obviously you have left out out a great deal of detail here over what has been going on, like you clearly changed tack a lot over Christmas to suddenly sell almost as much in the first month of this year as you did in the whole of last year, you didn't think that would cause you huge problems? Yes they will depart ways with you if you don't pay what you owe!

Welcome to the forums OP - stealth works so learn that for making backup accounts.

1) Which is restricted right now - eB? PP? Both?

2) No matter what, you must pay the dues - use a CC

I don't think it makes a big difference if the account was made the day ebay went live... if you only started selling recently eb still sees you as a new seller with little trust.

Increasing your average monthly revenue by 500% in a single month is going to raise flags.

You have to try your best to provide them with what they want... yes they will dip into your pp for the money if the billing agreement you made when you linked pp to eb is still in place.

If the information is legit on your acc, they will send debt collectors after you if you don't pay.

I will let it go to collections and hope it doesn't shut down my paypal because I'm still receiving payments via paypal.

Sorry for the delayed response I couldn't find my own thread.

I had no idea there were limits I mean I did call in to get my limit increased but they didn't tell me I'd be asked for receipts, I bought a course on ebay for 99 about how to make money selling certain things, it said nothing about getting receipts. So now I'm stuck with all this crap and about to just buy the stealth course.

Christ....why would you let the account go to collections? and do expect that paypal to go down at any time!

How did you NOT know there were limits? if you didn't know there were limits then how did you know to call in to get higher limits?

Why would they need to tell you that? it's your responsibility to make sure you have receipts.

You should get your money back.

Stealth guide is probably worth more than that ebay course you got.

Ok I read the stealth book,a lot of info and now I'm confused, how much can I sell if account is stealth, like in alias, is it 17k? How much is a business account, links to pages with this info would be appreciated

I have the money it's just why would I want to pay it if I can't use ebay anymore? 2500 is a lot I only saved 20k

Look for someone who can print receives and buy a trademark
thats easy after that just scan and send the documents
just make sure you put on each one different date

So make a bunch of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ receipts? THEN I'd have to pay 2500 in seller fees just to be able to sell again, doesn't seem worth it

thats exactly what happened to me 2 weeks ago !
because i also didnt pay the fees to ebay so my paypal got negative so my paypal account suspended.
i also dont know what to do and i have alot of items i bought just to sell on ebay. i already sent them receipts i just made but they didnt answer me and i already waiting like 10 days. i dont think they will let us sell again.
if you find a solution for it please let me know. i will too.

I didn't let my paypal go negative so I'm able to use it still but ebay bill hasn't become due yet they would of deducted the money out of my credit card but I changed the number

Why would you want to ruin your credit over 2,500, when you made 20,000 that's a lot. I'm tripping cause I only make a few hundred a month, lol. I'd be in heaven if I made that.

I find this a bit weird, you are running a business but didn't think you would need receipts? That's like asking the tax people to come investigate you because you are lonely lol.

ok so you sold like 2-3 cars, you better save money to pay your fees.

I don't understand how people make so much money but don't pay their fees. eBay fees is one of most important things you need to pay. This is how you make your money.

I have been selling on a new account, when I reach about 22k I'll open. a new one and let that one sit, the stealth book worked for me, new phone, bank, prepaid cc, mailbox w/street address, used same name

@Stephena513, you seem to be doing well on the account with sales but why wait? Why not get other accounts going now and sell on them to spread...

$22K may be too late.

paypal may ask for tax ID on projected sales early.

Keep in mind, you earn money, you have taxes to pay.

On a side note, I always pay my fees, well before their due. In fact, I manually pay them about 3 to 4 times per month (per stealth account). Could this be the reason why I hardly ever get suspended? Maybe... who knows. Bottom line, pay your fees.
