Some days the chances of getting a 10 item account increase, other days chances of getting a 100 item or 500 item account increase. If you were to make 50 accounts all at the same time using the same sort of information then you would, in theory, get exactly the same limits.
As it is though no one makes 50 accounts all at the same time. Those 50+ accounts you made would have been made over the course of months so that by itself means all the accounts you made are not all identical. Some address you use will be better than other addresses. Some names you use would also be better than other names. Time, address, name, date all play a factor in the eBay limits. This is determined by the algorithms that eBay do use.
Strangely some days you can make accounts all day long as only get 10 item accounts. Other times you can make accounts all day long and get 100 item accounts. There is a factor of randomness, but through trial and error it is possible to increase the likelihood that you will get higher limits than 10 items. That doesn't mean you would get 100 item accounts 100% of the time, but you can increase your odds of getting a 100 item account from 10% of the time to 40% of the time.
If anyone puts in the time then they can work out the patterns, just like the forum account sellers do. It does take a lot of trial and error though |
