Question re a zero limit account

I set up a stealth eBay UK account sometime ago, and logged in to see how things were going. I've never sold/purchased anything on it, but noticed that the selling limits are: 0.

So eBay have prompted me to add a bank ac, but the main question; is it worth adding the bank, or should I retry with another new account and hope they'll give me something?

Thanks.

Re: Question re a zero limit account

If you add a bank account they will up your limits to 10/650

Just follow the prompts on screen. There's usually a ten minute wait before they update the selling limits.

Re: Question re a zero limit account

Thanks JS. So they only offer 10/650? I may just create a few more and see if I can get a higher amount.

Re: Question re a zero limit account

If it's a 0/0 to start they ways go to 10/650 in my experience.

I have been in this situation

If you get 0 selling limit from start thats means eBay dont like you from start

Change your method Of account Creation

There is something wrong you doing in account creation and only you can figure it out

It's like getting the middle finger.....don't take it personal, just keep trying to make them.

Thanks, I'll look into improving ac creation instead of wasting time with this one.

Absolute rubbish. It is possible to get 0/0 accounts at any time but they can be rectified with ease in few minutes. They are not any weaker over the long term either.

Takes five seconds to go on CHAT and get them to raise the limts - 100/3500 is attainable off the bat.

Lolz before you deny any statement make sure you have some grounds

Ebay Have algorithm From A to z

accounts created outside these algorithms Gets problems Its very simple logic if you Do some homework
There is a reason why ebay doesn't give any selling limits, its not a glitch or Human error
I am not saying the accounts are done with 0 selling limits yes they can go super strong in future.
But its not wise to burn your bank account to these kind of Accounts

Re: Question re a zero limit account

Adding a bank account to a 0/0 is not "burning a bank account"

0/0 accounts are just as strong as any other account long term.

Not anymore

Used to be the case though but eBay have really clamped down on it recently.

Going on chat you may be able to get the limits increased to 10 items though, but again these days its always hit and miss.

Adding a bank account with nearly always guarantee that you get the limits increase though so its well worth doing

Six accounts all made this week using that method - working fine.

Works fine and never added a bank account prior.

I appreciate you may want to deter users to trying these methods to be able to sell accounts, so I guess its not in your interest to publish methods to develop accounts, but it is definitely a working method currently.

In terms of selling limits, what can one expect off the bat nowadays for a UK account?

To clarify,

You have created 6 accounts (all 0/0)

And had them raised right away to 100/3500 via chat?

Same as always. The standard starting limits are 10 / £650 a month

I am not sure that will ever change to be honest.

Its been a mix and match.

6 all given 0/0 then raised to 100/3500 on chat.

10 with 10/650 as standard.

Same method employed for creation on them all.

Interesting. I suppose both the 0 and 10 limits attract 100 on chat? And I take it they just ask a few half assed questions during the call?

Re: Question re a zero limit account

My experience of chat recently is that the ebay account has to be over 30 days old for them to increase the limits using chat.

Even then it's not a guaranteed 100/3500.

Good point. Do they ever reduce it to zero during chat (say from 10)? Or is this rare?

Re: Question re a zero limit account

They won't ever decrease your limits.
