I don't think it really makes a difference, as in the long you are bound to get blocked. There are worse than PayPal and wouldn't even advise touching them for any reason no matter how tempting... majority of users found them very easy to use at the beginning however as funds build up they found ways of freezing accounts without a genuine explanation! Basically you are waiting 3 months plus for that reason... | Yet again you are talking more unfounded rubbish. You must be a little brown Callidus. Grow up or GTFO. |

Crap | Nothing to do with Uaccount, been happening across the board fella. |

| mike316 | 07-21-2017 08:15 AM | Re: Uaccount It won't be long before aspkin has to make uaccount stealth guide(oj), great in the beginning lets you sign up easily but in the 2 months I have been using them I have found it to be a real pain and similar to paypal in that they can hold your money as long as they like with many varying reasons. If you have no alternative then it is better than nothing but as I mentioned you will be at the mercy of uaccount and its rules so in my opinion this is like adding an extra obstacle you just don't need. |

You can complain which will probably lead to them blocking your use of chat causing you to deal with them by email. At the moment they are just waiting for me to confirm my ancestors dna from the homo erectus period.
Personally I would always advise savings accounts within your main bank account backed up by a vcc, this is the method championed by the most knowledgeable members on here and one that has worked consistently for me since the day I found these forums. |
| zamzam | 07-21-2017 09:16 AM | Re: Uaccount So far I've known them to hold funds for 4 months, without any clarification what so ever to why they are doing that. At least PP give you a reason... LOL |

Exactly, and paypals reason is usually "cos we can" |
Re: Uaccount Sounds like could be good to use them for smaller ad-hoc payments rather than using them with good accounts - don't put through them what you can't afford to get blocked for a few months |

| Themav | 08-14-2017 05:52 PM | Re: Uaccount has anyone passed the review????
We're getting in touch because from time to time we need to ask for more information about how you use your account in order to satisfy a regulatory requirement known as "Know Your Customer". This is usually on new accounts or accounts where some of the transactions seem a little unusual for a personal account. These guidelines mean we also need to understand, and evidence in some scenarios, where our customers are receiving money from. I'm afraid we have had to temporarily restrict your account while we wait for your answers to the questions below. This means you will no longer be able to receive funds, pay direct debits or take money out. If you have any money due to be paid in, we would recommend that you make alternative arrangements while we complete our review. Please see section 5.3 of the U Account and Card Terms and Conditions for detail about our right to restrict accounts. We can see you have a large number of payments into your account from PayPal and this is not consistent with a personal account. Could you please help us understand the reason for the payments? If the PayPal account sending money to you is in your name, we will need screenshots of 2 screens - the one which shows that the account is in your name and at your address and also the screen which shows the transactions history so we can match up the payments into your U account from PayPal. In addition, we need to ultimately know where the funds going into your PayPal account are coming from - so for example if you are running an eBay store, we would need the 2 equivalent screens for your eBay account The more detail you provide around these transactions, the easier it will be for us to complete our review. Any additional evidence you can supply will also help us speed things up. I have enabled the ability for you to attach documents to this message so if there is anything you can think of which could help us understand where you are receiving money from, please include when you reply. |
Re: Uaccount Anyone experienced delays with withdrawing from U to Bank? One of mine has taken over 24hrs, when usually it's within a few hours |
| Bunneh | 08-15-2017 09:19 AM | Re: Uaccount someone tried paying my bank account once and it never showed, so they opened a query with uaccount and they saw it was an error with them, so i would check with uaccount. |
| Themav | 08-17-2017 08:56 AM | Re: Uaccount Watch out guys and girls: What we're looking to achieve at this moment is to determine the source of funds. You've confirmed that the PayPal payments into your U Account are from sales you made on eBay accounts. Are you able to provide us with a screenshot, link, or eBay ID, where we can see your name, address, and items sold?
Apart from your PayPal account where it shows your name and details, are you also able to provide us another one showing the transactions into your PayPal account and then out to the U Account?
Can you please also confirm if you'll be using the U Account solely for your sales?
We do apologise if this may come across as intrusive. The reason why we're asking these questions is to understand how the account is being used and also to ensure that we remain within the guidelines. We can completely understand your concern, but we can assure you that we will never request any information that's not related to your account or your account usage.
We appreciate your time and cooperation. |
| Themav | 08-17-2017 09:00 AM | Re: Uaccount I could have photoshopped the info and submitted which is what a lot will do I'm sure. I have 20 accounts with them and just don't have the patience to do it especially if they have already flagged me and looks like I'm running a business or doing something dodge.
So I just went the honest route and said that none of the accounts will show my name because I created extra accounts in Psuedo names as its the only way to create new accounts to get past selling limits etc.
Suggested that I will have my salary (I work full time) paid into Uaccount if it helps strengthen the account and that I have no qualms sending in ID etc.
So if it gets closed it gets closed and you will all know not to go down this route :) |

It is a very nice little website though |
