Already bought ebay account
 

with feedback, this feedback is from purchases not selling

however read on here that should buy account with feedback? anyone advise please thanks

Unless the seller transferred cookies with the sale, your computer will raise flags. Even if they transferred cookies, you're still probably going to have to through some sort of verification process. (hope the seller was smart enough to transfer a verifiable phone #). The first thing you sell on that account, eBay will call you to confirm the #.
Also, an account with feedback from purchases tells people you can make payments- that's all. If someone was to buy something from you they have no way of telling whether you're a reliable seller.
My advice is to start selling inexpensive items at first, build selling feedback, then list the good stuff (assuming you have it).

When you go to list it may tell you it doesn't recognize you computer and to verify your phone number. If he never listed you can change it a couple of times with no problem, if he has sold stuff you will need the answer to his secret question to change the number. They may also require you to call back from that number, so make sure you are able to call back to ebay and have that number show on there caller id, otherwise you have to speak to operator to confirm.

Bit strange. Is this another account? You mentioned in another thread that you were getting one from a powerseller mate. Makes it hard to help correctly?:peace:

hi i have already purchased this account, it has never been sold on but has recieved some feedback (12) from purchases

the other account which is powerseller has been used as a seller account for a few years now, i have not purchased the powerseller account as i was unsure if it was a good idea and it was already used to sell whereas the otherone has never been used to sell
