:faint: OMG!

No you cannot say that, you not allowed to avoid fees when selling items for profit. (Business use)

Gift payments are bad unless they are actually a gift. It is circumventing paypal fees. This alone will cause a paypal limitation.

Maybe you can get them to release the funds but I would not expect the account to be reinstated.

You have really made a bit of a mess with all this.

You need to just slow down and take it a lot slower.

Give it a day, log back in tomorrow, see exactly what they are asking for and sent it over to them.

Its very likely that your going to have to wait 180 days to get any of the money out this account now as PayPal will see it as very high risk so if you have not posted all the items it may be worth refunding some people and not posting the items then reselling on another account (but slower)

Yeh I know.

I can't even refund the buyers because I can't get past the upload docs page.

As long as I get the money then fine.

Doubtful Ill come back to eBay to be honest. They'll find a method to link the items ive sold to the ones ive got to sell, by images background or something else. Ive got a queue of items to sell and have already taken pics different items same background and item type. Don't have the time to take them again and id be too paranoid to use them. Couldn't afford to have any more money locked away.

If pictures are your concern then simply clean them. You should be doing that anyways.

Re: Account purchased here MC113

So it sounds like they are asking to upload docs as they think your account has been hacked.

What you need to do is upload the docs and then wait for them to restore the account. It will take a few days for them to restore the account.

eBay isn't linking you. Your just selling way too much way too fast and they are limiting you. There is a big difference

Don't know how to do that. These are new pictures only used on this account. I think you are talking about altering pic info but not sure.

Well they lied to me saying my information is wrong then. I understand they don't tell the truth, shady XXXXXXX

If paypal let me upload the docs id be a lot more calm. But when they don't let me add a bank and then not letting me upload docs... its getting me fearing the worst.

Can they keep the money if they wanted to ? Or will I get it back 180 days if they do suspend it?

Its very rare for PayPal to keep the money

Your not being totally clear as to the issue with your PayPal account though. Are they actually letting you log into the account or when you log into the account are you being asked for ID?

Only takes a few seconds to clean pictures. All pictures should be cleaned to make sure you are not linked by pics data.
Lots of options posted on this forum can be found in a search.

I use http://www.digitalconfidence.com/BatchPurifier.html pretty much all of the free tools will strip the data in a few seconds.

LOL, what makes this funnier is that the OP isn't exactly new to this forum and yet acts like they just got here today.

In terms of running the account I waited for weeks to list for browsing history, after a few weeks I listed books for less than 5 and got feedback. Its only in the last two weeks I listed 3 high value used items.

What I did at the end is stupid but I didn't care to save any accounts just wanted the money. Didn't know they've got a system in place for everything

ive been running 3 stealth accounts just fine for years

I can login then they say we've noticed unusual activity, they ask me for verify myself but then don't let me upload it. I cannot see my balance, wallet, activity or anything.

Why dont you screen shot exactly what page shows when you log into the account and post it here.

Listing a few books at low price then jumping to $3500 items wasn't going to end well - another lesson to learn for your future accounts and for any new user reading these threads

Don't think anything can be done from an advice standpoint. Just have to wait it out.

i thought they wouldn't see those three high value items as something that would cause them to suspend an account. Because they're not high risk, I get that the value is. But with all the people joining eBay to sell stuff I'm genuinely surprised. I still think that something about the account was no good too despite people telling me its just the high value items.

it was probably a manual check on the account information after they saw the sums. Theres got to be thousands of people listing more in a month with real details. Or they didn't like the phone number change within the account, it was 4 months old.

So I assumed they wouldn't do a deep check into the name address etc. I thought I treated it sensitively but obviously not.

maybe a new rule here should be if you buy an account/make an account you must have the original number/SIM for at least 6 months without changing. Because I was suspended a day or on the same day I changed the number.
